This kind of song is why I love the music Keane makes, but the song "Stop for a minute" the vocals are good and Keane's voice is good, but then that other guy comes in and then..... I throw up....

Keane if you are ever to read this I want to say pleas don't ever mix up your great songs with other rappers/singers because you are unique and your voice can't work together with that style, K'naan .... he is a disaster in your wonder.... same goes for "Looking back"

In the album version, I think Tom only has one section all to himself, which I believe occurs at the 0:58 mark ('Can anybody find their home?') up to 1:15. The 2nd verse is obviously Tim just as in the 1st, and then the rest of the song is both, seamlessly done. Right or wrong, I still love this song. Very magical, very beautiful, only able to be done by KEANE!

OH MY GOSH MY MIND IS BLOWN!!! I listened very carefully to the album version and you all are right! That is Tim on the verses and Tom on the chorus!!. But I think Tom still sings the verses but their voices are blended together and Tim's stands out more.Oh my god!!! Holy crap! I never noticed

i think Tim is quite a decent vocalist, but this song is obviously too high for him, if you listen to him singing 'These days', you can hear that he's much more comfortable in the deeper, more baritone-ish areas.

in this demo, Tim have such a relaxing voice and make you have peace in yourself...

I had assumed that Tom sang lead throughout the album version until I heard this, and looked it up on Wiki, which says that the album version has Tim's lead vocal in the verses and Tom's in the chorus. At first I found this incredible since it's done so seamlessly, but having relistened to both versions several times, and also seen it performed live with Tom's lead vocal, I believe it's true (with Tim singing the words and Tom the Oooh bits on the album version outro after the last chorus).

Well I love Keane in general.

But on the Cd. it is Tim singing the first part of the song. And then Tom takes over the vocals. but it is nice.

I co wrote and produced this song at my place in france Tim, When the came, they were a rock band, changed them into this sensitive sound that people love.........they promised on thier mothers lives they keep the masters to themslevesfor rehearsing notto work with other producers.thats exactly what they did..they airbrushed me out of their history.with friends like these who needs enemies.(I got them a brit for best album, they didnt even invite me to the show!)
