  • ra2e3 bgd .. God bless u :)

  • This is amazing, keep up the good work. God bless!

  • this is inspiring. ^^ thank you for making this video! (:

  • God Bless continue to spread the Gospel...:)

  • OH SHIT, 3:08 B2ST JUMPER <33333 BEAUTY LOVE <3333

  • You people, are criticizing the video, but no one criticizes the fact that many professors put students faith to the test, by doing absurd things, just like the professor in the video.Professors have to learn to respect the student's faith!!! THIS VIDEO IS BRILLIANT!!!

  • @marcus1223able That's the professor's job. They are there to teach us and make us smarter. That involves challenging antiquated, previously unquestioned beliefs. That's how we learn.

  • This video also commits the equivocation fallacy by implying that the word faith has one definition only. Making the inference that the teacher has a brain without seeing it right then and there is not faith in the same way to having blind faith in something for which we have not now and never have had good evidence for.

In short, you can call both instances faith, but if you have faith his brain exists you'd be bang on right and with good reason. That's not the case for your particular god.

  • This is dreadful. It's a strawman argument throughout, and nothing more than a snazzy chick tract. If you look into his eyes you will see his retina, which is actually part of the brain. But in any event nobody has ever said you have to personally see something right then and there for it to be scientific. It's a strawman. What we can do is based upon everything we know we can reasonably infer he has a brain, we can MRI scan it if we wanted to, and see it via post mortem after death.

  • In the end i realized this analogy of heat is said by Einstein!

  • @alienkishorekumar It wasn't. Einstein was deist and never had such a confrontation. What you are recalling is a fictional chain-letter that has been going around for decades.

  • God and faith in God is a part of our ancient brain which somehow convinces us in believing in a supreme power called God and the modern mad with the modern mind over the ancient brain is being challenged by science but somehow our older brain overpowers us which makes us more bound to God and also the reason we get barbaric when our religious view is challenged is because of the old brain!

  • I'd rather wake up knowing I have a purpose for life and hope that someone greater loves me so much he died for me. I would rather have that than wake up everyday feeling life has no purpose, no one loved me enough to die for me, and I was just some "cosmic accident". wow.

  • God is AWEEESSSOMMMEEE ;D

  • I heard a lot of separate stories in this video that I'm amazed the creator could put together. great work!

  • This was absolutely amazing. I loved it!

  • This is a video response to Existance of God

  • I love this movie. It was really awesome. Lol.

    God Bless. :D

  • @MattheewSC No, i havent seen a monkey turn into a human couse thats not how evolution works. You guys really need to learn and read the facts.

And by the way, we have seen many times evolution by observing. Thats how science works, is not like religion that just tells you "Belive this" or "have faith" science proov things, religion doesnt. Go and read a book, go and type "evolution" at google.

  • God bless you :)

  • I can't believe how amazing this was, and for someone as young as you are too. I'll be sharing this with everyone I know, because it really is beautiful. Please continue telling stories through film; you're absolutely brilliant at it. :)

  • Beautiful!

  • this is soo inspiring

  • It's good to hear the theist embracing scientific laws as explanations for the existence of GOD. Science is our interpretation of nature, so we may fathom the universe. It is indeed a GOD given human skill; it should call towards the Praise of GOD rather than go against it. History has shown that faith in GOD along with science and hard work go a long way. Atheists are limited by their imagination which is itself the product of experience, a finite reference, even for most mature.

  • @aloneperson11 Science is not out interpretation of nature or even reality. We observe nature and we wirte down what we observe, mathematics ARE a tool to undertand reality and GOD is a fairy tale that has not been proob at all. Relogion is not even an interpretation, is just a fairy tale. thats it.

  • @Cephalic959 "Proven" in the way that you expect it to be. Because for us (Christians) God has been proven. He has proven Himself to us a million times over, and thats why we continue to believe and serve Him. Is not reality in perception? You percieve math to be a tool to see reality. We percieve something different.

  • @RebelStyle101 Really? Couse i know so many christians that have tell me that now they realize how all those things are more like a "Placebo" or are energys that are totally natural, that doesnt mean that is god. How do you know whether thats god or not? Can you proov it?

  • @Cephalic959 Well, these "placebos" that you're talking about are things that can be evidence. God set up everything and ordered in the way that it works together. Which is what we call natural. He still made it though. And like I said before, it can't be proven in the way that you expect it. The only document that says that He created everything is the Bible, which is seen as "questionable". And that same document says that He created us and our minds, the ones we use to try and explain...

  • @RebelStyle101 ...everything. even when the answers are right in front of us. We believe what history books say, but some refuse to believe the Bible.

  • If there is a God then the devil must also exist, but why do the people who remain standing for God's existence sit when asked whether Satin exist? If Satin does not exist then God must also not exist for those people. Overall, an interesting film.

  • I just watched something beutiful

  • Ohhh my god this is the WORST SHORT FILM I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.

¿have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes? YES WE HAVE, All of us, evolution is a constant, is not something that just happen years ago, holy crap. Christians.. for god sake.

  • @Cephalic959 We have seen evolution, but we only have seen microevolution, not macroevolution. Big differences. I think an anmimal can change size or color over time, but they cannot change specie's, thats just physicly impossible. God loves you :) sorry if I made you angry, but when it comes to God, I really need to speak up:)

  • @MissEyelashWisher It doesnt make me angry at all. I see this as a way to have fun. At the end of the day is all about manipulation.

we have seen and observe animals changin (like ants) trughtout the years (sorry about my english)

Why dont you go and read a book?

  • @Cephalic959 Yes, but there has never been a species that completly changes into a different species. You can see an ant changing say how strong its exoskeloton is, but you havnt ever seen an ant turn into a beatle. (just an example) Happy New years by the way ^_^

  • @MissEyelashWisher No. Just like we havent seen a monkey turn a human being. OBIUSLY. Nobody has ever seen that. ¿SO what?

  • @Cephalic959 So, my point is that we havnt seen evolution. If you havnt seen it, then it takes just as much faith to believe in evolution as it does to believe in God, maybe more. I personaly believe that believing in God is much more logical than believing in the big bang and evolution. God bless you :)

  • @MissEyelashWisher We see evidence of evolution all the time. It happens through every subsequent generation. It is so well understood, that it can be controlled and predicted. Please open a biology book. Or any science book for that matter.

  • @ALostMap My point was is that all we have seen so far is small amounts of evolution. We have never seen a species completely change into something else, that just makes no sense at all.And I have opened a biology book, but thanks for the suggestion :) Do you believe in the big bang theory?

  • @MissEyelashWisher It makes perfect sense, and is clearly evident in our fossil record. We do not see organisms changing species before our eyes because that is impossible, and scientists have never suggested such non-sense. However, mostly due to the failure of America's educational system, as well as parents ignorant of science brainwashing their children, there is a large number of American's who have no real understanding of evolution or how it works.

  • @MissEyelashWisher Also, you immediately jumping from a topic grounded in Biology and jumping straight into cosmology shows me that your the type that actually has no interest in science. You only wish to delve into topics so long as they immediately validate your silly belief system. If you are really interested, go read a book, written by real scientists preferably, rather than asking strangers on youtube.

  • @ALostMap eh heh heh heh... My bio book doesn't have anything about evolution except in the first chapter, and that's just a picture (with a caption, I'll give you that. But it's about Darwin, not evolution). ANYWAYS, to my main point. We actually don't see evolution. Human beings have wanted to fly for over a millenia (see how people used to describe winged creatures- flying was considered a power of the gods) but we never EVOLVED into flight. We merely adapted and invented flying machines.

  • @jrocklij3 Well then I'd say that's a rather poor Bio book. Is it a private school that you go to? And as somebody who studies Biology, I can assure you that we do see evolution. And human beings wanting something, such as the ability to fly, could never direct the course of evolution. Like I said please do some research on your own, and don't just reads things in order to try to validate your point of view.

  • @MissEyelashWisher Individuals do not evolve, populations do. Jesus Christ I think I've stumbled across the most scientifically ignorant crowd on youtube thus far. Leave it to religion..

  • @ALostMap But if you hav'nt seen it take place, how do you know it truly happened?

  • @Cephalic959 Did you see someone Evolve from a Monkey..Where When and how

  • @Cephalic959 so you have seen monkey turn into human? just curious. If you have, please post a video.

  • I have one of those teachers xD God bless him though...

  • Ignorance sure is bliss.

  • Wow. Really well shot, and excellent concept :)

  • this is a good flim. wow.

  • what's the music's title??

  • is this a based on a true story??? or just based on a fiction writing?

  • Besides if god wanted us to pray to him, love him & believe in him, then he would of put religion & faith in our human nature. But he didn't. Religion is not natural. You aren't born knowing religion, only an atheist. LOL i know i get carried away. I wont be surprised if i come back & comment again. wow. We need more stuff like this on the YT homepage. Even though i kinda disagree with it in a sense. I don't really care. It makes people think! XD :p

  • @ActiveAnimeEnt what makes you think that human are born atheist? God has integrated himself in many incredible ways. Pay attention to things happen around you.

  • @MattheewSC God hasnt integrate in nobody, that is nonsense, ¿Where did you guys get all this absurd things? You born being athiest couse when you were a baby you didnt have the ability to question. So even if "god" were inside of you, that doesnt make you catholic or christian. Pay attention to things happen around you.

  • @MattheewSC well those "incredible ways" are randomness. i think they happen because they happen, not because god made them happen.

  • The universe is so big & the human species is so young which makes our faith very insignificant in the universe's sense. And beside why would god son be on earth out every other species that is probably out there. Instead of looking to faith for comfort, look towards the true mind. And if someone who has faith gets mad or confused when they're contradicted, then they are not content & happy with there religion. But u can't argue with science & atheism. This is just what i think. :) ^____^ :P

  • Comment removed

  • Great Video. But evolution never stated that human evolved from primates. It states we evolved from a common ancestor. lol I still am an Atheist/agnostic Buddhist. We obviously don't everything & can't prove everything. So living content like that makes me happy, but I always want to know more like the big questions. So I leave it up to science. Besides its kina ignorant to actually believe in a faith. What makes human faith so special?...

  • Umm, evolution is still not an opinion, you CAN see it happening, the fossil records are all there.

  • @TheRamstoss if u study indept, they cannot prove that evolution in terms of a ape to man is real there are lots of missing link. they can only prove that natural selection ( a type of evolution ) real and not the ape - man thingy.

  • @DunKillMePlz it's in depth, not "indept," that would be inept. And it's not called the "ape-man thingy". Evolution of humans did not just occur from "apes", it started long before that. And there aren't lots of missing links, there are some missing species. If there is 1 missing link in a chain of tens of species that are clearly all there nicely chronologically arranged, does that disprove evolution? No.

  • @TheRamstoss hey man relax :) just stating my point. respect your view and yup my bad for the spelling mistake

  • this is amazing

  • This film brought me back again, closer to the Lord. The final point it touched on was incredibly powerful... wow.... Props to the professor, he was Excellent. Some of the acting of the students were a bit poor as if they were reading lines or delivering a speech (not casual enough for a class discussion), but you know what? It didn't hinder the message. Excellent work.

  • dannngg youngmin i didnt know you filmed. hahahhaha mr. schick!! this is like all the band people! hehehe giving all the lines to crystal huh?? -cough- -cough- hahahhahha

  • honestly, i had tears when the lightbulb hit the floor and didn't shatter.

  • great short film.

  • Get moded! lol

  • Awesome job, a real eye opener. where can i find the original story?

  • ummm, bad acting much

  • @aznchicaa94 hey don't hate I think it was great.

  • @aznchicaa94 ?????? are they hollywood actors ???? are you paying to watch this???? for the love of god in heaven and earth at the same time STOPWITH YOUR BS AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE..IF NOT GO GET GANGRAPE

  • Congratulations on being a nominee for the 4th annual Pan Pacific Film Festival!

  • TRIPLE SIX IS MY NUMBER YOU CAN GET IT OFF MY TUMBLR!

  • We live by faith, not by sight.

That's so true, no matter who you are. What we believe in is not so much determined by what we see and observe but what we BELIEVE and FEEL to be right.

  • A fundamental aspect of Christianity is that God gives us free will. It led Lucifer to defy God and be sent to hell, it led Adam and Eve to taste the fruit from the one tree they were forbidden, it led us into this broken world of sin, sickness and natural disasters. And as grim as all of these things are, the ability to have free choice is meant to be beautiful. God gives us the ability to CHOOSE Him, to come to Him if we please.

  • @whenshesawake The disconnect comes of our definition of happiness and His is made evident when we begin to think about priorities. God's priority isn't to make our lives "happy-go-lucky" and perfect by the definition of the world. He is seeking to make us more Holy and more in His image, to grow to become the men and women He intended us to be so that we can fulfill His purpose for us on earth.

  • @whenshesawake Our God is a God of eternity, not of 20/30/40 years and His vision of what is good is so much greater than ours. How can we claim to know better than He? We seek happiness but what God wants for us is joy, love, certainty, peace. Happiness is fleeting but joy is eternal. Praise Him for knowing what He's doing.

  • this is truly amazing. Ive honestly been going through hard times. Day after day I kept thinking about the same questions that the professor asked, and im glad i was reminded why i believe in God. Thanks for incorporating the famous story into a video. God bless!

  • @ArsenicElite : "You shall not kill" was obviously not fulfilled either, people still kill. So your explanation that the OT law was fulfilled is bullshit.

  • This video is a straw man argument. You create this "atheist professor" and put words in his mouth, like "science relies on 5 human senses", which it doesn't (and there are many more than 5 senses anyway). Then you refute what he "says". Classic straw man logical fallacy.

  • @olegkikin Thank you. So many people these days miss glaringly obvious logical fallacies...

  • weird i hear this exact same story of the teacher who did this a long time ago. Is this video orignial? The exact same story about the lightbulb and that in the end it fell and did not shatter.

  • I'm always scared and worried that my faith isnt strong enough but this film gave me something to think about. Thanks so much for making this and sharing it with the world!

plus, the girl in the black hoodie is a B2UTY!!! I'm too~~~ BEAST daebak~

  • Your god is sick.

Matthew 15:4 For God said, 'Honor your father and mother' and 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'

Timothy 6:1 All who are under the yoke of slavery should consider their masters worthy of full respect, so that God's name and our teaching may not be slandered.

Colossians 3:22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.

  • @olegkikin God says things that we cannot comprehend and we perceive his ways in our individual perspectives. I agree with you that these verses are sort of "sickening", and i cant really come up with a definitive answer to rebuttal you, but they are what they are to obey God's teachings. Rather, the word limit on this comment thing is way too short for me to even start making a point. He doesn't say it for us to hate him, that's the last thing he wants, but he says it for a reason.

  • @sylvestar00 Well then God is sick for saying things he knows we won't be able to comprehend. He is basically misleading us into killing others.

  • @sawdum that's just how u perceive it. when did he ever say anything about killing others?

  • @sylvestar00 I didn't say he's telling us to kill each other, I said he's misleading us into killing each other. He says stuff that humans can't comprehend which causes some dumb Christians to decipher it into something that involves killing.

  • @sawdum But God isn't misleading YOU to kill others right? I mean, for sure, people are going to be mislead by his words more than often. But to say that our God is sick because some of His ignorant sons are claiming to do the work of God by involving themselves in something like taking the life of another is just not true.

Men are extremely selfish and ignorant, and that is why we need wisdom to be able to truly understand Him and do what He asks us of correctly.

  • Matthew 15:4. Our God isn't sick. He is the creator of all living things. Created over 250 billion galaxies to pretty much show off his magnificent power. For real. Our God forgives through His Son, Jesus Christ, who died for all of our sins, including me and yours and along with everyone out there.

Timothy 6:1 and Colossians 3:22 can relate to our daily Jobs. It's discipline, really.

  • Comment removed

  • @sawdum He actually created us human beings for us to enjoy his beautiful glory. The only reason why human kind is so messed up now is because adam and eve fell into temptation. Thus, God had to send his own son, Jesus Christ, to die for all of our sins because we were so bad...if you think about it, it is really bad lol. God is the only God who our earthly words cannot contain Him, so don't even try. He is a God who cannot be exaggerated..because He is the creator of all living things.

  • @olegkikin So if you cursed your parents, you better be damn straight you are sorry for what you have done because thats straight up disrespectful and not right, but Jesus forgives if you repent ans ask for His forgiveness with all your heart.

  • @olegkikin Taken out of context, the verses do sound terrible. No argument there, but if you take some time to find out the context (historical and cultural) of the verses you will see that there is a difference.

Primary example is that you are taking the connotation of slaves as African-American slaves in the US. Conditions of slaves during Biblical times was significantly different.

  • @ArsenicElite In what context is it ok to kill children because they curse at their parents?

  • @olegkikin The word "curse" in English has a different connotation and a slightly different denotation than the Hebrew word (Exodus 21:17) and the Greek word (Matthew 15:4.). This goes back to the time of Hammurabi's code - a time where respecting your parents and family honor were a lot stronger values than they are today. During that time, it was not uncommon for such a punishment to ensue.

  • @ArsenicElite And you didn't answer the question. You basically said "it was ok back then" (which I find hard to believe). It's completely immoral and sick any way you look at it. Same for the slavery verses. Immoral and sick.

  • @olegkikin I did answer the question. The historical context. If you look at how viewpoints of people have changed between historical contexts and present day contexts. Again, do some research on the difference between slaves back then and slaves from the US during Civil War times. Being a slave then was not uncommon to pay off debts and were treated very humane.

  • @ArsenicElite No, you didn't answer the question. Just because it used to happen, it doesn't make it moral or OK or not sick.

Your book doesn't say "Kill unruly children until 1950, then stop".

    It's a commandment.

    "For God said ..."

  • @olegkikin In any case, there is a difference between OT and NT because of salvation through Jesus. It should be made clear that Christians nowadays don't kill children for disrespecting parents.

  • @ArsenicElite All these quotes were from the NT.

  • @olegkikin You are partially correct. Yes you did quote them from the NT, but Jesus is quoting from OT. You are correct that it is a command, but if you look at the context of the whole Bible you will see that the fulfillment of the law was through a different means when Jesus came and provided salvation as the ultimate sacrifice.

  • @ArsenicElite The old laws still apply. Matthew 5:17-20

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven ... "

  • @olegkikin He fulfilled the laws - eliminating the need for them to follow those laws word for word, letter for letter because the emphasis was on inward attitude and not simply outward actions. Again, context of the whole Bible is what is important in understanding what this means. Also, there is atonement that can be made for any sins (read: breaking any of the laws).

  • @ArsenicElite Are you saying every single one of the old laws was fulfilled? In what way "You shall not covet" was fulfilled?

  • Comment removed

  • @ArsenicElite And you still didn't address the slavery part. You non-answer was "slavery was nice back then", which is bullshit. It's sick and immoral in any way, shape or form. And not all slavery was due to debt, that's just a plain lie.

  • @olegkikin Yes, not all slavery was due to a debt, but most of it was (looking at the context of the Jews). If you research the conditions of the slaves back then, they were in very good working conditions and not succumb to mistreatment. I did not explicitly list everything out because I was hoping to point you in the direction so you could find out for yourself and not just "take my word for it". I encourage you to do research on your end regarding this issue of slavery.

  • most of what they said is wrong (the student's that is) evolution can be and is being observed its a proven fact IE: your appendix is being filtered out of the human body more each generation because it serves no use anymore what it used to do was break down proteins in nuts and grass which is not apart of the regular human diet also heat is a unit of measurement and so is cold so saying that cold doesn't exist is wrong not looking to start a fight just clearing up some facts

  • @livin2myownlamp thanks for the facts.. but what the student did was she asked the professor if he, the teacher himself, has seen evolution in its actual process.... and he himself said no... have you? have you actually observed it with your own eyes? and i don't think cold has a unit.... heat has a unit... if it falls to a negative level, then that's how it becomes cold... thus the absence of it... not arguing, just clearing and stating my opinion

  • @purevowels well you see asking if you can see or witness evolution in is actually process is redundant since it takes many generations to make even the slightest change in the human body or animal and no heat doesn't have a unit but rather falls into a unit Celsius or Fahrenheit which is a measurement of tempurtre. think about it this way if your in a room and the tempurter is higher than your body temprtuer than in will be "hot" and vice verse hope i cleared something up for you :)

  • I'm not religious at all but that professor agitated me. In no context does his arguments make sense.

  • @kanker154: God loves all of us, hence we love him back. The life of a "christian" is getting to know God. It is true, how can you love someone you do not know? That is why we need to get to know him. Did you know the bible is a romance? God is constantly wooing us and he is waiting for us to reciprocate. Once you realize how wonderful is God, you can't help but love Him.

  • lol besides for the horrible acting this is good stuff :)

  • Good stuff (Y) (:

  • Ah... i was expecting more. But thats great too. But its an old story.. :/

  • THE LIGHTBULB DIDN'T BREAK:O THERE IS A GOD!

  • BEASTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, good job Jay!!!!

  • i'm a philosopher, or rather, i try to be. as such, i have to stand between religion and science. i am not an atheist. i am not religious. i am a thinker. and i truly do not believe that, even if all religious principles are false. there is still something. something on this planet is equal to more than the sum of it's parts. can we call that god? i'd like to, if that's ok.

  • :)

  • I've heard this story with chalk, but it's the first time seeing a video of it!

  • "We live by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7

    Amen.

  • LOL EVOLUTION CAN'T BE PROVEN?!@ THE FUCK THIS IS WHY CHRISTIANS ARE CALLED TO BE FUCKING STUPID

  • @alsdjflaksjghalklaks

Hi there! You have a really unique username, but I just wanted to comment your comment.

The video shows how the professor explained his reasoning to the class and the students are just simply using the same method he used back at himself. He uses the 5 senses as an example of God and how it doesn’t go together, so the student simply uses the 5 sense with evolution and his brain as a parallel reference to show him.

    That is all

  • isnt this from einstein or sth

  • @Julietlate No. The original story that this is based on falsely credited it to Einstein. Einstein was, at most, a deist and never had such an encounter with any professor.

  • This beyond words. Such an inspiring short film. Thumbs up if Arden Cho brought you here!

  • this is awesome YM! really good message too....

  • great film, though

  • i am an asian, and i really want to know where can you find this many asians?

  • @d361095 their school..has so many asians.. watch his daily vlogs lol

  • great film!

  • AMEN!!! THANYOU GOD FOR WORKING THROUGH YOUNG-MIN KIM! GOD YOUR LOVE FOR US IS SO AMAZING; THANKYOU!! this video is so encouraging and it is such a blessing to watch!!!

  • thats too bad, 10 people's lightbulbs broke.

  • why is that class only asian? Minus the one white gil.

besides that. this was reakky good. truely inspirational.

  • omg hai Mr. Schick

  • this <3

  • that was really good ^_^

  • Reminds me Einstein and what he did with his Professor.

  • @winkonce Never happened. That chain letter story was falsely credited to Einstein.

  • @TheHalMak Cool Story, Bro. Go find something better to do?

  • @winkonce That took all of 2 minutes... But thanks for showing your christian love, bro.

  • @TheHalMak bless your heart. what makes you think im christian? get a life.

  • @winkonce Truth hurts, don't it? You probably believes Einstein was that stupid.

  • wait wait wait.... i swear i recognize the girl in the black sweater... Crystal huh... G20? korea? summer 2011? sorry i'm a creeper.

  • LOL i live close to tht bus stop :D

  • that girl with the B2ST shirt in the beginning<3

  • first off TRUE christians are "Disciples of Jesus Christ" 4 real christians, "christianity" isn't a religion. Religion is man made. Abraham didn't believe in God because of a religion, he had faith. Also, religion is not going 2 win in the end, Jesus is. Also, God made science, but God is greater than science. When God created the world, it didn't mean that He didn't create the science behind it.

  • Comment removed

  • Science and religion are two very different things. They should not be mixed... the reasoning of everyone in this short film is flawed... This shows no middle ground, only the polar opposites and with religion winning in the end... A film full of bias, neither side should be able to win in this debate.

  • @WayWay888 I don't usually participate in debates about religion but this person is saying something important and very true. I hope that alot of people will agree and not just blindly pick a side.

  • @WayWay888 Not to mention the fact that the whole thing is an absurd straw man. No professor worth his salt would be that stupid.

  • @YohJae

no religion isnt the cause of wars. its been mostly because of the government thats been doing stupid stuff. give me an example where religion caused a war.

  • @snowfoxluver uhh... heard of the Crusades?

  • @WayWay888 you cant bring up the crusades when atheists who renounce all religion killed more than all the holy wars put together

  • @frolicchild the crusades couldnt have happened without religions. on the other hand, the massacres committed by pol pot, mao and stalin were not driven by atheism/secularism. they were driven by dogmas as well, albeit non-religious ones, i.e. the desire to create a communist utopia. you might probably bring up north korea as an example of an "atheist country". it is not. although it technically has no religion, the state itself serves as a kind of belief system with kim jong il as the god.

  • @frolicchild Why can't I? He simply asked for an example where religion caused a war, so I gave him one. It is a fact, not an opinion. I am not taking sides and there is no bias in my statement... so neither should yours. Have a nice day. =]
