Hey everybody! I have released my new album 'Progenitor' which is electronic music inspired by great games such as the Final Fantasy series. You can check it out and download it for free on my youtube channel if you're interested!
I like what they did with the FMV sequences and all, but the loading time in this version is fucking horrible. It's because of that I appreciate the SNES game even more.
Terra's hair was made green in the game, and so green it is meant to be. But, all the FMVs seem to work off Yoshitaka Amano's original concept art, and the guy really loves his blond hair.
it was meant to be green even in the art but due to the new imaging graphics the new ppl wanted it blonde because they thought it was more natural stupid if u ask me she was beautiful with green hair
In the original Japanese game, she was blond because this is seen to be exotic in Japan, but not so much in America, so the hair colour was changed to green to keep with the exotic look for Terra.
However, it isn't so easy to recolour things in a FMV, so it stayed blond even in the American version of the FMV.
The song is called "Yochou", and it can be found on the Princess Tutu anime original soundtrack. It's performed by the Sofia Symphonic Orchestra. The song is one of my favourites from the album!
I think they should make all the final fantasies into movies, starting with this one because it is the first video game to have a story that really wowed audiences. It truely is a beautiful story.
I totally agree, In my Opinon FFVI was the best of the Final Fantasy Series, They should make a movie out of it...even know they would scew up the voices so badly.
I should play Terra- even though I know they'd never cast me as her. *sighs* However, I have a similar emotional past, so I could really nail the part.
I personally think IV would make the best movie. VI needs a miniseries, or at least Lord of the Rings treatment with a couple of sequential movies. Seriously, do you think they could cram all of that awesomeness into a single film? I think not! But yeah, I'd love to see the final battle fully rendered and accompanied by a creepy pipe organ.
Just one bad thing to say. IN the middle of it, when the music shifts, you show that eye opening three times. O.O; It looks like you're showing a person with three eyes.
But aside from that, you did an awesome job with this video. It looks like it's the intro to the game, just better. Great job! ^_^

Amano's artwork (that the series is based off of up until 7, but he still contributes) originally depicted Cefca (yes, Cefca) as a clown/jester.

I only have the snes version, but the cutscenes on the psx version are pretty cool. I love how they made Kefka look.

yes terra had blue hair, if im not mistaken the girl in the psx is celes, which is technically inaccurate but yea.

nice combo of snes and PSX. its better then just snes, since that would be crappy and PSX would be all the same.
