  • great video...what is your crucible made of. wanted to try and make my own, or if you don't mind let me know where you bought yours.

  • can u make video tutorial how to make these melting tools and the burner?

  • I recommend having the tools elevated to a height that makes them easier to work with, crouching down whilst transporting hot material can be dangerous.

  • Jeans and shoes while casting bronze. I don't even think there's better safety wear out there than that..

  • @swordfish020 We made them. Simple, easy and inexpensive!

  • U have a snap flask but u leave it in place? Is Bronse harder or easier to cast than Alu.?

  • @Axbent Yes, we leave the flask in place so we can put the clamps on. Yes, bronze is harder to work with than aluminum. It takes longer to melt and is harder to cut and file.

    Thank you,

  • Lucifer drink this in hell

  • If you don't put the crucible back in the furnace it will crack

  • @jmodz442 No, that is not true!

  • Was the sand wet or dry during the pouring?

  • @MrMantura The sand is slightly wet, about 5% moisture. They call it greensand because of the moisture content, like green wood(not dry).

  • @1castingcowboy That's great! Thanks for the Info!

  • @1castingcowboy thx I always wondered about the name!

  • dear bronze artist...i collect art ..can u kindly see my 53 cm ancient bronze and tell me what u think? press badran106 link...thank u...

  • you need to made better holder for casting aka grip to stop casting from falling off

  • How long before the bronze got ready for pouring?

  • @RIS4892 The bronze starts to melt in about 20-25 minutes, It reaches pouring temp in 40 -45 minutes. More information on our website. Thank you!

  • Pretty lava fire stuff!

  • HillBillies?

  • @sapher974 how do you come to that conclution?

  • wats song is that?

  • Revelations 1:15 (King James version)

  • @starsheild7 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.

Thank you, we were not familiar with that verse.

  • @1castingcowboy Your welcome

  • @1castingcowboy I thought it was going to be another Chuck Norris joke...

  • Slipknot - Before I forget playing... Only for that, this video deserves thumbs up before even watching it.

  • @llRambardll I heard that as well, and that comment, unlike almost all others on YT, is valid.

  • What kind of sand do you use for that? I just do lost wax (poorly) and would like to try sand casting

  • One ring to rule them all?

  • Hi. I really like your work! And you setup well your workshop. I wish to have so much space :(

I will like to ask you if white bronze means only cooper and tin, or it is more.

    Thank you

  • @relu777 The white bronze I have used is copper and nickel.

It is very hard to cut. Thank you!

  • @1castingcowboy

    Thank you.

  • wtf.. at least show us the end result

  • as usual I've been here years before you jason.

  • Nice vid, but hot metal casting in jeans and trainers? Do you want to lose your feet?

  • o i here a bit of slipknot in the background ;-)

  • @jugs554433 here?

  • @FroggyVector ............. sorry i used the wrong hear mr grammer nazi

  • just a little safety gear goes a long way. please.

  • Carfo 6 il meglio!

  • slipknot-before i forget

  • what would it look like if you, say, just simply pour the bronze openly over a sandstone (or green sand or whatever) engraving? Would this be too reckless? How would the casting turn out?

  • @ RBTCLD - That's all very well, if you're happy to attribute elemental attributes of conscious will to atoms moving at 1,000 Celsius - until you fail to notice a hairline crack in your crucible and find your nikes have gone and left your feet in their very own comfy little furnace. What are you going to say to the bronze then? Maybe 'good dog' will get it to stop?

I'm guessing your handle stands for Retarded But Totally Cool with Losing Digits . . .

  • @nostradamuszen it stands for go fuck yourself ya soft cunt! howz that?

  • well done! it was easy and fast.........

  • slipknot!

  • if you show metal no fear it wont bite you . its like a dog. if you protect ya self it knows youre scared and look out

  • Slipknot - Before i Forget

  • What is the song from the start called? Anyone knows?

  • Pours like water! The beauty of bronze.

  • Nice to see a fairly clean work area compared to many shops on youtube. You look like you have good experience. Why not wear a bit of protective gear and make a better holder so you cant loose the pouring crucible when you are cleaning it out? no sleeves, short gloves, and tennis shoes. Everybody's a hero. at least not barefoot like some of these dudes.

  • hwo the fuck does that make them a hero? lol

  • i made a cupple forges my self but i wanted a really nice one and i looked on the internet and stumbled apon lost and foundry i orderd the large kit and it is suppost to come on mndaay i am really excited for it to come

  • did u by your forge from lost and foundry

  • Hey nice job! Is that a propane furnace? It sure does put out the heat!
