Personally, I don't believe anything the internet tells me unless I hear it in an interview. I know how to research. I haven't found anything to indicate either way. Can everyone stop arguing over this song and just enjoy it? Does it matter how Alex's brother died? No it doesn't, the fact that he is dead IS what matters. But do you really think that Alex would like it if he came on here and saw everyone talking about is brother, I know for one that I would hate it if I were him. This song helped Alex move on and it is beautiful, so either appreciate it or go away, simple as.

The first time I heard this song I almost cried. This song will save my life many a time, I know it!! It's so beautiful, and it's something I can cry and rock out to at the same time! ATL's fun songs are something to rock out to, and songs like Therapy and this one are good to just have a good cry. Personally, I don't believe anything the internet tells me unless I hear it in an interview. I know how to research. I haven't found anything to indicate either way. All I know is that Therapy prevented my little sister, who is a musician, from writing a song about losing her big sister. That's the only truth that really matters.

I love my brothers so much and only imagining what would happen to me if i lost them. Alex got over it so quick, though, i see him in other videos all happy as if nothing - its a sign of a strong heart! :3 something like tht would mark me for life...

@ShadowHeartization he didnt get over it. you can never get over something like that. you can push it to the back of your mind and try to forget, and you can fake a smile, but things like that will never go away. no, none of my close relatives have died but i know it would hurt so, so much. yes, it has been so long now, but i bet there are still times when he cries himself to sleep. but yes, i agree. he has a very, very strong heart <3

Tomorrow is my grandpas birthday. He died a few years ago and i havent been to the cemetary to see him because I was afraid i wouldnt be able to cope with his death if i did, but i still am.
