Akuma is stronger cos he uses the power of the dark hadou at all times but Ryu only used it breifly & had the power to give it up. & what happened at the end was Ryu decided to sacrifice the strength of the dark hadou for compassion toward his master/friends & when Akuma was presented with same chance (when he saw the flashback)he refused.

I don't really like the messed up animation of generations though, its weird, this style of animation is also used in animatrix, it's used much betta in that, I h8 how they always change the way Ryu got his bandana, and the bandana is meant 2 b red not white.

Erm, officially, his headband is red, Ken gave Ryu the headband while they were trainin under Gouken, I think I remember reading sumwhere that Ken used the headband in one of the games because his hair was longer and he needed a way of tying it, which is probably what u're referring 2, but Ryu's headband is meant 2 b white, and there are few, if any, games where ryu's main costume has a white bandana.
