It is a really neat tool. For the most part tho the modern kicker shouldnt be kicked very hard anyway..thats what the power strechers are for...With the exception of that super hot day in a small room with a cheesey peice o rug ;) Im not going to live forever and there are fish out there waiting for me ! :) bye
Ingenious but not practical. You can't stretch todays synthetic backings with a kicker air or not. You use that and I'll use my power stretcher and we'll see who does a quicker better job.
@santfekuss A kness kicker is not intended to "stretch" carpet. Only position it. If you're actually stretching in rooms with a kicker. You aren't getting to 1 to 1 1/2 % stretch required, and you're killing your knees. Consider this. 1% of 100 inches is... 1 inch.
@santfekuss A typical 12x12 room would require you to kick the carpet hard enough to stretch it 1 1/12 to 2 inches. Not only is that impossible with quality carpet. It's a dumb idea to try. Professional installers worth their pay, that can actually warranty their stretch for more than 2 years, or forever as you should be able to if you install it correctly, will use a power stretcher for anything over 5ft. :)
1. It's the health and injury that most concerns us.
2. A wool weave is a small part of the North American Industry
3. The Air Kicker pressure system can be set up or down producing a nice smooth stretch less damaging than the knee kicker.
4. Let's work smarter not harder.
5. The Junior & Senior Power Stretchers can be fitted with cotton heads for berbers & wools. They also have a very easily controlled stretcher head delivery.
