@75echo it will help the experience if you have internet service with low latency....so not necessarily big bandwidth, but low latency. Bandwidth required per user would be between 50 and 200 kbps depending what you're doing but you probably have more than that already. Latency should be generally under 50m (you can test this at eg pingtest.net)

@Difato123 - Yes it would work on your iPad, it will work on any iPad (or these days android tablets too), because the Win7 isn't runing on the iPad hardware, you're connecting to a Virtual Machine running Windows 7. You could run games on such a setup, but beware, the remoting software (link from iPad to Virtual Machine) doesn't always do well at displaying fast moving graphics especially if HD. The demo was on RDP, probably for video or games Citrix HDX would be better, but that's not free.

It works so fast because the Windows 7 machine deals with all the processing of the information and the iPad is just a remote screen.

Instead of just having a remote desktop connection, it would be nice if Virtual Box could be loaded on an iPad, then you can load whatever Windows environment on it. But unfortunately I think the processor, plus RAM and storage requirements, isn't going to let you.
