that was fantastic fun to watch, sure makes flying the modern microlights feel a lot more safer but knowing that it was people with this guys sprit that made the microlight what it is today! so thanks dude you did a great job! 3rd time lucky maybe? ;-)
The Doodlebug harness *is* modern, but its for people who want to thermal and fly minimum aircraft. Today's microlights are too heavy and expensive for anything but flying like a cessna from point a to b.
omg this is a foot launched powered glider or FLPG doodlebug or mosquito, its very modern. i think this guy is using a wing that is too small even with no power sink rate shouldn't be that bad. airwave target is the bast glider but not a standard one the powered one is bigger to cope with the extra weight
I like this video. I'm glad the pilot has a chance to explain what happens. Otherwise, you'd get an endless parade of morons leaving comments about how you don't know how to fly and that you stalled yourself out etc.
