@chantervz Yes and they were more stable. The cars today don't have the roof strength (sheet metal thickness) that they did years ago.

@scritsz i could be wrong, but i beleive the industry standard today is...the car's roof has to be able to support 2.5x the curb weight.

then again - that's just for rollover streingth, not deformation of the unibody.

would be kinda cool if they brought these back now though....since alot of people are going to the smaller cars again.
