Lol, yeah I get that a lot, only it's worse for me, b/c my dad's mixed too (white/philippino), and my mom's full on mexican. People think I'm black, hawaiian, chinese (of all things!), mexican, or they "just don't know". I don't mind it though, I make a game out of it.

can we have shit people say to blasians? this was more relatable for white/asians, and while i was able to relate to some of the things in the video, there are some issues that weren't addressed that i would have loved to be mentions.
People always ask me that. Racially: I'm Black, white, native american. Ethnic/Nationality wise: African American Mexican Chilean. I'm always called dominican or 1/2 Haitian and 1/2 white. I'm blessed to be a hybrid. Others think I'm a stuck up black chick but I am a diverse individual. Besides everyone's a little bit mixed and that's a fact. If you don't believe me take a DNA test and check it out yourself. Be happy we are all human!

@HelloEiko omg i get that one too. i'll be at work with my co workers and there will be asians speaking like vietnamese for an example and my co workers will be like so what were they saying? and ill be like umm.. lol i dont speak vietnamese.. i speak japanese/tagalog lmao.
Jeez... Hearing this stuff can't be that bad. I love when people ask me about my ethnicity. And me saying "are you mixed?" and trying to make a game out of guessing each other's ethnic background is the BEST conversation starter with eurasian girls. Hasn't failed me once! Even if I guess totally wrong. But then again, it only works if you REALLY want to know her ethnicity. If you say it like a cheesy pickup line, like "hey baby, what's your sign?" then, yeah, probably not so smooth... XD
@strawzombie truthfully being asked these things isn't bad at all it just becomes tedious after you've been asked it so many times which I think other mixed people can relate to. But you're right it is a good convo starter with the ladies ;)
