Well said. I'm afraid we'll never know the real reason why, but a lot of fans suggest it's because of how badly Snatcher sold in the Western territories. Which is a mighty shame.
I like the original intro better than the one for Sega Saturn/PSone.

Damn!! I bought this for the 3DO while my father was on tour in Japan
I Learned japanese for my friends over there and could understand the dialouge for the most part.
when we came back to America everybody thought it was soo sweet but nobody could read it.

we lived there for almost a year...the guys I ran with there (3 other Japanese guys and me a black guy LOL)all spoke Japanese and English
It was easy for me I was around the language,all dialects of it.
I think that's the best way to learn ANY language.
