SH3 doesn't suck; it is just that SHC is too good.

SH3 is a spin-off, has a different mood than the entire series, has a new protagonist and is a bit of a SHC clone in terms of mechanics.

SHC was good, undeniably. But it was so easy... SH3 fixed that.

If you enjoyed SH3, then you will just adore SHC.

The reason why I claim that FTNW isn't good is the fact that it has nothing to do with the previous games. It has connections and whatnot, but it just seems too watered down, if you ask me.

SHC is like a fine, expensive wine. Compared to it, FTNW is just diet soda....

Something like that...I was trying to beat FTNW, but I had to stop. I could not bring myself to keep playing it after awhile...

@SaikyoMog I totally agree with you! FTNW was horrible in my opinion, just a filler. There's almost no connection between it and the past titles, save for the Manuscript, Roger, and the vampires.

Ah..Well, Koudelka isn't really anything like the other SH games. SH1 was alright, but it could of been a tad better. Covenant is the best one out of them all...

Well, I suppose to each their own...I guess if you never played 1 and 2 you would say SH3 was good, but if you played the previous 3 games, you would understand why I say that FTNW is horrid...

Well, the whole SH series consists of 4 games. There is Koudelka for the PS1. The rest are for the PS2: Shadow Hearts, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, and Shadow Hearts: From the New World.

I don't suggest FTNW, I really didn't like that game. The best one is Covenant, in my opinion, but if you are going to play that, make sure to play Shadow Hearts too so you can understand who a lot of the characters are and whatnot.

But you don't have to play SH to enjoy SHC, but it would help quite a bit with understanding various points in story... <_<

And don't bother with FTNW...Koudelka, SH, and SHC is all you need ;)
