The evidence has to be provided by the party making the assertion. The person rejecting the assertion needs to provide nothing at all. A person made a statement with a claim, which I rejected according to my opinion. The person I replied to has the burden of proof.

I saw this movie on Lifetime the other day. It touched my heart. God loves all of his children no matter what. she didn't murder anyone! She seemed like she was a very sweet person portrayed by J.D. I am shocked at the level of insensitivity and disrepect shown during her funeral - and her life.
I do think that what she did was wrong though. Whilst she had every right to live her life how she wanted to, and to not be judged for it, she had no right to deceive these guys with whom she entered into sexual relations with.

@twychang First of all, the same situation happening to you doesn't make the idea any better. It's just plain mean. In my eyes, it would be okay to insult him. That you can get away with. And just tell his parents they need to talk to their transgendered child and that their ideas of doing what they did is sick. Regardless, it's still not okay to beat someone up just because they lied to you and had sexual contact with you. You don't see rape victims beating the shit out of their attackers.

You just don't kill someone unless it's self defense and in the defendants' situation it wasn't. Regardless, murder is a much more serious crime than rape.

I'm a girl, and I have a friend who told me one day she had a crush on me an several other girls at school. I was freaked out but did I kill her? No, I just told her she was confused and needed help. She wasn't trying to hurt me physically, maybe emotionally, but it wasn't intentionally and that's something that a person can get over.

@twychang Why are you replying to each part of the movie with the same comment? In any case, I disagree with you. Earlier in the movie, the doctor who was being questioned said that you should not reveal a medical condition to someone unless it's a threat to their health. Gwen shouldn't be punished for telling them she was biologically male, hell the doctor didn't say she was once biologically male until she was questioned. Murder is still murder, regardless of the reasons.

I saw this movie on Lifetime the other day. It touched my heart. God loves all of his children no matter what. she didn't murder anyone! She seemed like she was a very sweet person portrayed by J.D. Pardo.. Sleep well Gwen, with the angels. It has been years w/o her, I hope her family has found peace somehow. <3

I can totally understand why some would feel angry, but at the end of the day God made Gwen, and GOd loves ALL of his creations. We may not understand how or why, but we cannot question God. This movie touched something deep inside of me,and it's obvious how much Gwen was loved, how she brought happiness to those around her. Only God giveth life and only he can take it away. When we start to decide how can live and how - where and when would we be able to draw the line?

I am shocked at the level of insensitivity and disrepect shown during her funeral - and her life.
I do think that what she did was wrong though. Whilst she had every right to live her life how she wanted to, and to not be judged for it, she had no right to deceive these guys with whom she entered into sexual relations with.
I would feel violated and extremely angry. However whatever she did, it did not warrant murder and everyone involved, no matter how deeply, should pay for thier evil actions.

What's the point of those protestors? She's already dead, what more could you do to ruin her family's lives? They act like making signs and protesting will change Gwen's family's view on her, but OF COURSE IT WON'T.
