  • Great episode. I'm still wiping the tears from my eyes. Thanks.

  • Boy, TV sure doesn't make great shows like this anymore. What a great episode. So well-written and well-acted. A+

  • One of the Few I have Never seen before, Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks Big Daddy. Ya did good.

  • The Rule nr. 1 ML ought to teach his characters CI and LJ: Never EVER go hunting with your daughter or your brother (or any other relative you might or might not have)

...they will end up shootin´ ya and they will have real troble getting the right help.

(The bonanza ep. referred to is My brother´s keeper if you want some SJS :D lol )

  • the episode proves no matter what your disability you're capable of doing just about anything if u just TRY

  • yhey should have taken jack he could get the doctor faster

  • Well done!! Great episode. Thx for posting.

    Regards,

    Leo M., Chicago

  • And that's why you should never take a woman hunting. It's almost as bad as taking a woman to Home Depot.

  • @DVDluvr123 Hey now! My husband is a hunter (bowhunter and rifle hunter). I have no desire to go with him so no worries there. But I did work at a True Value hardware store for about 9 years so that is familiar to me!

  • I love how Pa takes hold of her braids when he's being tender. So sweet!

  • 0:52 so sweet! :)

  • Thnx 4 posting!!! This was another touching episode. I love the bond between Laura and the old man.. It's funny how Gos brings ppl together to help them overcome their obstacles and push forward...:-))

  • I mean GOD

  • why didnt the blood in the creek bring a bear?

  • i like the way he's still clean shaven :)

  • wheres part seven now u no longer own it...

  • is burl ives really blind?

  • He is now... considering he has been dead for about 25 years. But wasn't blind in real life.

  • He's dead? Oh no! :(

  • Died in 1995, at the age of 85. Most famous for being the voice of Frosty the Snowman in that Xmas classic thats all over tv every December. You a big LHOTP fan?

  • Again Thanks for uploading! Thought I would come watch this episode again and get me a dose of SCS which was terrific! XD

  • one can never get enough SCS!!! glad you're enjoying it!! love ya, sach!

  • what is SCS?

  • Suffering Charles Syndrome.. we got it from using it a lot for Bonanza referring to SJS (Suffering Joe Syndrome).

  • Oh, hurray for SJS! Whenever Joe gets hurt in Bonanza I start laughing because I just imagine the whole Ponderosa going, "Huh, Little Joe's bleeding, must be Tuesday."?

LHOP's really quite restrained with the SCS by comparison.

  • Yep but even with SCS he still manages to get his shiry off. :-) Hurray!!!

  • I don't think there's any power on earth that could prevent Michael Landon from getting his shirt off. And quite right too : )

  • @SNLover09 BURL I'VES WAS GREAT IN THIS EPIODE

  • the blind man is burl ives. He played the voice of the snowman in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, among other things. He was a great actor!

  • thanks for posting this! :]

  • Thank you very much!

  • Thank you a lot! I finally got to see this episode which is now one of my favorites. The blind man actor played his part really good. and ML was great

  • love this episode thanks :)
