or rather a Connecticut Yankee in the court of King Arthur the part that Bing Crosby is playing is the Yankee who suddenly finds himself back in the time of King Arthur that is the bearded guy in the middle. I loved this film as a child
This movie has always been a favourite of mine, and this song has always stuck with me, reminds me of my old European father and how he spontaneously bursts into song about the most mundane things to cheer himself up, and how it always works! Certainly something to live by!
I love this song, i heard it on a Mc Donnalds advert and i've been obsessed with it since. For some reason the video reminds me of The wizard of Oz !!
@LoraaCharlotte looks like the same style and camera work. It would be ironic if the same super-ambitious people who produced Wizard of Oz were behind this.
How weird. I must have remembered this song from my childhood. I was just sitting here singing it and I thought i would see if it was in here. And here it is. how wonderful.
As someone who has been endeavouring, with but moderate success, to introduce British panto to parts of Central Europe, I cannot adequately express my delight and gratitude at this hark back to one of the great comedic musical reinterpretations - made all the more wonderful by the HQ.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever. - Keats, Endymion

@bk533 I can't actually hear this without mentally listening Arthur's voice 'quacking' this.
Douglas: *humming*
Arthur: THAT'S IT!
Martin: Uh, Arthur! You made me drop my apple!
Carolyn: Oh Martin. Surely the only professional pilot who can not successfully juggle one apple.
Arthur: That's the tune, though! *assassinates tune with infinite painfull cries*
Crew: *Sings happily while juggling apples (which apparently is the secret to true happiness)*
Oh My, too funny.
