I don't like the way he's like "oh yeah i'll do that, and that, and oh this is all pure random stuff, coming out of the blue", but i must admit the finished work seems quite nice. But abstract art shouldn't be just random gestures pulled out of nowhere, but more random gestures reflecting something from you, and emotion, a state of mind..

But still, good job :)

i dont care much for vocab of art but im in 8th grade and starting to make a really daark blue and black room so i thought somthing modern and abstract would make the room look cool

How does he keep his work area so clean??? My drawing table and even the floor gets splattered and smeared. I have to make sure not to have anything in my paint studio that isn't "paint-proof". Even my cats got into the paint and smeared it (and that is not good , especially with oil paint)

Could have been but he is mostly showing us technique. It really doesn't matter what his looked liked, do one for yourself, that is all that matters. Now that you know basics. Have fun!
