hey dustin i want to a know if your variance idea is only of 50 to 60 thousand hand applys to play only one kind of cash game like lets say I play omaha hi lo and run really well can I then play 55 thousand hands of no limit holdem and expect to be back to and even run in omaha hi lo or thoes this theroy only apply to the same game
i have a serious question about on line poker...and am sure u have got this one before.....First before i ask, i want everyone to know i play about 6-8 hours a day of live poker and have for close to 4 yrs.
Why does it always work out were the only card that are in play always hit the flop? and cards need to suck out come all more often then live poker?
Also i have followed 5 poker stats pro and logged 1500 hands and the info and suck out i seen is truly unreal.
@saintjay7284 1500 hands are hardly enough. I play live poker too, suck outs do happen and it's part of poker. Although online poker is never truely "random," there are so many possiblities that find patterns is practically impossible.
I find that playing smaller buy ins you get worse play, which makes me put my chips at risk more often. I'm almost always ahead and never like to get all my money in on the flop. But these internet beats are sometimes almost unrealistic, I can beat the lower buy ins but how do I know im ready to move up?
you dont but if u have good bank roll management youll b e fine with taking a shot.. you can take a shot with like 25 or 30 buy ins at a limit but if u lose 5 buy ins move back down... your not really COMPLETELY safe unless u have 40-50 buy ins at any certain level... so if u play 1/2 nl... u would need like 8-10k to be really safe.. but u could take a 5 buy in shot with like 5 or 6 k if u want...some people are more risky and some are less but thats a pretty good rule of thumb
