Finally beat Ruby and Emerald Weapon yesterday on the PC version. I've beaten the game countless times, but was never able to beat the weapons (and I believe that simply spamming knights of the round isn't really what the game intended), but I finally managed to beat them both without using summons at all!

I always loved this one from the game. It just fits so well! The sounds of machinery and pumps combined with the hopeless and depressing atmosphere. It sounds so industrial and impersonal. Exactly like the inside of one of those god awful reactors.

the synth at 0:14 makes it sound so high up and that's partially true. the city is suspended far above ground level and those huge bottomless shafts in side the reactor. Rest in pieces Shin-Ra.

@FALLEN9336 I don't think it would be risky at all. Even if the remake is crap, it's guaranteed to sell as many as the original (10 million). Just have better graphics, voice acting, and make the battle system so that characters can attack simultaneously, and everyone will be happy. Of course, a project like a FFVII remake is looking at a 9 digit figure and 5 to 10 years depending on how much man power they have. But if any game deserves a remake more, I haven't played it.
