I did the apple crumble at school.You`ll need
2 cooking apples
100g plain flour
50g butter/margerine
40g oats (Optional)
a teaspoon of cinnammon/cloves
30g sugar
+ 40g of coconut, raisins, dired fruit, figs or prunes (optional)

my father who was a baker & had his own bakery ALWAYS used lemon in his fruit pies
