Aah... classical music is just so incredible. It brings out such emotion and feelings that lie deep within, and causes emotion and memories to just arise from the depths of the mind, unlike modern day music. (Sigh...) I'd only heard the piano version of this before... But it's also really beautiful played by a violin. It's just the same and yet somehow completely different. Amazing how changing the intrument can affect a song. I really love this piece. :)

Is it a sonata? When I listen to it, it does seem to follow the "sonata formula" but I always feel pieces like these (or any from the Romantic/20th century) are so...I don't know. I suppose the way they sound would make one think otherwise.

Yes it is very emotive!

I love this piece because it shows the beauty of why I play my instrument. I am fourteen years old, and for any adult wishing to play the violin, it is NEVER too late. Young or old can play. I encourage you to to take up the instrument. I've been playing 6 years, and it may only take an intelligent adult only 3 or 4 to grasp the instrument. :D
