  • but not bad guys u just gotta thrust more. know whAT I MEAN

  • try to thrust

  • Yeah those teeps suck ass dude!

  • tear drop bag might work better

  • your knees + teeps = fail

  • he kinda fails in general "/

  • i wonder if yall ever kick that frame. looks like an odd bag to throw those kicks to.

    good vid.

  • that second dude is fucking good. vicious striker

  • not a bad drill. its better than jumping on a tire.

  • Marcus got skills.

  • that bags kinda stupid...

  • its mainly for uppercuts and knees i actually wish i had one

  • only thing thats good for is uppercuts, maybe elbows. knees are better on the big bags. you dont ever knee straight up anyway, ur knees thrust out from your hips

  • i do not like your shorts sir.

  • Should I buy a 'Twins' Muai Thai punching bag or a 'Fairtex'?

    Or are they both good?

  • fairtex

  • Fairtex

  • It doesn't matter what kind you buy. I promise you won't wear it out, quite the opposite actually.

  • are the 30 second intervals, more for high intensity conditioning (i.e. about to finish an opponent)....or is a good way to work out to complete round training? I noticed the pace was fast....

  • what kinda shorts are the first guy wearing?nice vid

  • Excellent round house, but footwork is a must, try boxing for foot work and taekwondo for a lil change in stance. But i I like how you guys train, thats the only way to train.

  • You should have thrown in about 50 kicks straight up the middle to practice kicking to the nuts Bas Rutten style.

  • Unconventional bag set-up. Ever smash your toes or feet against that metal frame?

  • that bag sucks. but i guess you work with what you got and i guess that danger makes you focus on the correct angle and distance. so it could be a good thing too.

  • yeah its definetly unconventional, its not so bad for front kicks or knees but personally I wouldnt round house that thing...I would prefer a teardrop bag personally. Good vid though lol

  • Good woork keep it up!

  • I'm impressed with you guys landing those hard round-house kicks on that long flat surface when the bag is sideways like that. It seems like i may snap my ankle if I tried that, with my inexperience.

  • Is that a combo of an overhand right and right cross? I see you guys are from 5 Points?

  • are those 14 oz fairtex? just wondering what u veterans usually train with for bags and pads 14oz or 16oz?

  • i normaly train in 16s and fight in 10's even as a heavy weight hope that helps

  • Nice vid, thats a pretty good set up thanks for giving me an idea on what to do with my old bag.

  • I don't know much about Muay Thai, but I've been doing Pangration for a little while now. My coach has done a lot of pro fighting and trained in many forms including Muay Thai. He always tells me to lean back when I front kick, not just throw it out there. Same with knees. You gotta pretend ur grabbing the head and pulling it down. That's all I noticed that u look like might be wrong.

  • lean back when you kick is not a good idea. I was always told to stand straight as it is more solid and maintains better balance while the othe rleg is kicking. I have trained in Thailand with many top fighters and seen what they do. I try and emulate them as best I can.

  • leaning back IS a good idea. Notice how he says "when I front kick", not just any kick. When you're front kicking, you should ALWAYS be leaning back. It actually gives you MORE balance and makes your face out of range for your opponent to punch, while you're kicking. Exactly the same principle applies when you're kneeing. You should be leaning back, as it generates a lot more power and simultaneously moves your head out of range for a counter punch.

  • I meant that leaning back when throwing a roundhouse kick is not a good idea as your balance is compromised. I agree with what you said about leaning back the upper body when throwing front kick or long knee.

  • you naturally lean back a little from thrusting your hips... if you dont you wont get as much power seing as the power from a roundhouse comes from the hips. you use your arm as a counter balance, ever seen pro MT fighters kick? One arm always whips back giving more power and acting as your counter balance, if its a right kick your right arm push back

  • the point is not to just lean back the aim is to push the hips forward as if to thrust them. While pushing the hips forward your body naturally leans back and generates alot of power. Your hips do thrust forward when round kicking and you naturally lean back a little just not as much as when frontkicking .. thats the point of going up onto the toes..the higher on the toe the more hip is involved therefore the more power it will have

  • looks like a fun drill!!! is that just 2 'A' frames with a centre support for the other bags?

  • tearin that bag up!!! good work!!
