yeah. they're blocking patterns sure did change, along with KnJ frames and whatnot. but the difficulty was still meh... except for that AI's intelligence-spike or smthn at 3:42 xD im guessing it was just a random coincidence...
i use neji in score attack....you get 6400 points or i think in was 7200 points...to get a higher score i do my 10hit combo with neji which gets me my special...i do it then i doo my combo again and repeat...and then i do that the next round but i make sure i lose soo i have another round to do it
lol it's weird, at one point, i got used to everything that the cpu does and predicted all of it's moves, so i got perfect wins for 5 rounds in a row, i did that for a few fights, and now the cpu's do seem a little bit harder, they block more than usual, and at 3:42, one time the cpu pulled something off like that xD lol i dont remember the match-up though...but it's funny o.o i think i was doing the exact same thing that you did with naruto(Bx5, Bx5, Bx5) lol idk
in conr2,you can reach the 999999 score in you hold the fire style jutsu as sasuke,2nd sasuke,jiraita or orochimaru -_- kinda lame...

Were you using the combo to see if there would be a change in the cpu lvs attack and dodge patterns?

It's like in GNT4.
Certain missions once you get to say the 8th,9th and 10th matches the difficulty spikes.
Cursed Seal Lv2 Sasuke was always the last character you face.
He was always troublesome especially in missions with people that I have trouble using i.e Chouji.
Kimmimaro would also get a spike in difficulty when he was at either 8th or 9th match placement.
Guess the game has to get smart at certain points.

the points system is dumb It gives you extra points for cancels, just cancel spam and you'll rape the score board.

yeah, it seems like the score increases as the combo counter increases. but, no idea what else there is to it. maybe there isnt >>
