I think a dwarf should be the next rider....It would be sad if it were Arya because she is so much better than Eragon at sword fighting on ground that if she were the new rider she would outshine Eragon, and that would suck. I think Orik should be the next rider. It would be fitting, because Orik is the new Dwarf King, so he should become a rider to further unite the dwarves and Dragon Riders.

well not saying you're wrong, but "enemy" in situations like this often means a group of enemies, like if they say "we must fight the enemy" they dont just mean galbatorix, they mean everyone working for galbatorix as well. a whole army of soldiers is classified as a single "enemy".

also i just reread the scene with the shade, he smiles a bit, but he doesn't really laugh all that much! the soldiers however... in hysterics the entire time...!
