I tried this recipe but didn't use raw cocoa powder. Used the kind u use to bake with. Is there a difference? Also did yours leave the skin brown and stain things. Please help.
@mpeachock1 Raw cacao is a lot lighter in colour and less strongly scented so if you use regular cocoa powder (which is toasted) you need to use a lot less for sure. Try it again and add just tiny bits of the powder, you can always remelt and add more but you can't take it out again :-)
@TheSereneSparkle If you store it wrapped up in baking parchment or greaseproof paper, in a dry place out of heat and light it will keep for upto 6 months. Bear in mind that cocoa butter melts at 37 degrees C so you mustn't srore near a radiator or on a sunny window sill etc. Hope this helps :-) x Star
@GataAgressiva411 funny you should ask in this one it did as i think I put too much choccy in (my mistake!) but in another one I made it was much lighter in colour and didn't leave chocolate on me. Chocolate on skin is a good excuse to get someone sexy to lick it off though ;-)
how many bars do you need for a full boby massage???

Does the brown color rub off on your skin? I have that problem with some of my chocolate store-bought massage bars.

Thank you for sharing this! :)
An idea also: sifting the cacao powder into the bowl through a mesh strainer helps loads, no lumps.
