@parasitedave Touching the side of his nose with his finger is a imitation of John Wayne, in many early John Wayne movies like Rio Bravo the Duke would use his right trigger finger to touch the side of his nose when talking, it was taught to Duke by either director jhn ford or howard hawks I dont remember which right now......back when the commercial came out most people recognized the inference......
The only reason they would call it "fresh" is because they put so much crap inside that it's impossible for it not to be fresh if you left it in the sun for 20 years!
Doesn't the kid at 0:17 look like Danny Masterson (aka Hyde from "That 70s Show")?
Hahahaha I can hear Hyde's answer to this question: "How do they make Twinkies? The government's in cahoots with the junk food industry to send subliminal messages through your stomach....that's how they got us in 'Nam, man!"
I live in the UK, and I WANT A FUCKING TWINKIE! :'(

"Snacks with a snack in the middle"... So I guess they were considering beef-tallow-spiked sugar whip to be a standalone snack...?!
