I have 2 bank alts that each have 6 tab guild vaults to hold all my stored mats =) I highly recommend the addon altaholic for anyone who does this as it makes finding your stored items easier.

With max Archaeology as well as being an engineer my main has been forced to upgrade to 24 slot bags just for daily travels. Purchasing a repair mount is the best advice I could offer to any questing or farming types. also to purchase dedicated profession bags for bank =)

first bag is my hearthstone (and randoms), and my last bag is stuff i always have, and maybe second last, and everything in between, is well.. everything in between :P

If you're really stuck for space you can mail stuff to an alt and just leave it in the mail box.
