The knicks did have more known players but vernon maxwell, kenny smith, mario eli,robert horry and otis thorpe were no joke. And superstars finish games which ewing just didnt do enough of.
If you look at stats, their battles are pretty close(Hakeem has a slight edge). If you watch the 94 finals, u will see that Hakeem outplayed Ewing just by a little.
