I truly hope WIND brings real change. The potential is massive. Fido started off great, then got sucked into the Rogers vortex. Boom, another viable competitor taken out. Hopefully, WIND can create a sustainable alternative.
I live in Brampton, and lucky me....the part of Brampton that I now live in does NOT have Wind coverage. If you look at their coverage map, you'd see that their coverage splits on my street. Just my luck. So now I have to sell my BB 9780 (at a loss), sign a 3 year contract with Telus (because I hate Bell & hate Rogers even more). :(
I cancelled by FIDO in July believing that WIND was coming out. Then Rogers and Telus tried to stop the competition from giving me a break. Its now December and Im stuck with a KOODOO phone because it has no contract and Im waiting for WIND to arrive in Vancouver. I will cancel koodo and go to WIND the very second they arrive here. Im surprised WIND doesnt have contracts....WOW! Unlimited voice...just incredible.

I really resent the way the big three suddenly forced us to sign 3 year contracts, when the norm was always 2.
No phone can be expected to last that long, and even they know it.
When your phone inevitably breaks, whether it's your fault or not, they will force you to extend your contract another 3 years or pay hundreds of dollars for a replacement.
A 2 year contract is far more reasonable. The phone is covered under warranty the 1st year, and the 2nd is the final year of the contact.

hahaha perfect perfect commercial. my only concern is that they stick by their word. If they do, they will get 99% of canadian cutomers
