I am confused. For the past year i have been studying wicca and trying to decided if i wan't to be wiccan or not. I really like the beliefs but i'm worried if my family will approve. My aunt is a wiccan and she is very supportive, but my father is a catholic and i'm nto sure if he'll approve. What do i do?
@xXLollipoproxXx , remember that even Wicca was conceived not by any kind of holy individual, but by a lecherous old man (Gerald Gardner) who was part of an esoteric Christian group known as "The Golden Dawn". Any "history" you read about Wicca is fictitious; there were certainly pagans who practiced similar craft, but they were NOT Wiccans, Wicca is only about 60 years old. That said, it is very easy to meld paganism and Christianity if your fathers approval is important to you; check out OBOD

But it took me 23 years to find out how dumb and stupid I was when I though Witchcraft and occult and pentagram was of the devil, even and that it would bring bad things into this house. I'm now a witch and I'm glad I'm no longer a christian. I love witchcraft and I felt much better. I'm 39 and still lives with my parents and they are still christian. :/
i am an atheist who wants to learn more about this religion but i cant find any info on what wicca is REALLY. i know its about nature and thats kinda about it. What ive seen so far seems very interesting. On another note, you are very cute.

Wicca Is completely not Satanic, Wicca haves The Horned God in common as for the Satanics, In both religions the Horned God sybolyses death, wich the Horned God's head is incraved in the Satanic pentagram. But Wicca Haves the Mother Goddess which balances with the Power of Death , Wicca Is what I call Relligion of the Nature. Satanism saw the Horned God as theyre only God , and they symbolyse the death alot.
i came into wicca really just to find my way back in life. i was in a psych . hospital for a while and having something to believe in made me realize how long life is and how theres so much out there worth living 4

I've been into Wicca for the past 3 or 4 years, and am trying to get my mother to accept it. Our whole family is very Catholic. So, I've been trying to find out more information, but I cannot bring books home about it. But when I turn to the internet, I am worried about being misled.
