  • Hey great job, I have been playing this song for about a year now but I like your version much better. What is that third chord you play after playing C F C right before the D7?

  • @Timmboi69 That's A7.

  • @JesseTinsley Thanks much.

  • I would like to get the lyrics to the song but your version, no one else. I am learning it but will have to go slow so I sing the Hawaiian words correctly. Thanks for anybleads

  • Wonderful! Love your background in this video and your presentation is awesome too. Would like to learn this song too.

  • One of the best renditions on YT, IMO. absolutely wonderful!

  • Fantastic job on this Jesse! Great vocals too.

  • I am trying to learn this one in preparation of my first trip to HI coming up in May. Perhaps I don't need to go to HI at all to get the great hawaiian music - but to your house! Keep up the great work but I think I still will go to HI.....

  • @ukulelephil I am going in June with my family. Hawaiian music is around the world with Hawaiians and non-Hawaiians in many countries, even in Idaho! For this song, many now play it like Iz Kamakawiwo'ole did it, but there are other rhythms that are common. Mine is similar to Iz, but my intro is different. Hope you can find a good ukulele jam in Hawai'i.

  • Right on Jesse!!!! Good fun song, made me pull out my guitar and jam along with your video. Too bad we live so far apart or we would be jammin' together and I would try my bestest for keep up!!! Mahalo for sharing my braddah & keep pumpin' 'um out!!!
