my mini dc-9 only shoots if it is not oiled. everytime i do a feild strip and oil and clean everything it jams faliure to eject and feed so i just shoot it without cleaning it everytime. it shoots fine if i just run a swab down the barrol

TECS aint shyttie firearms. yall dont know how to take care of em. replace the recoil spring and striker spring with heavy duty springs even if you have to cut them to size. glue a thin piece of good rubber to the back of the screw in plate. keep your buffer and insides well greased replace the fire pin with the rolled 1040 from sksparts.com. 115 grain 9mm fmj only or winchester silvertips. use a 36 rnd. ruger mp9 mag. and there you go . no sillymeter nomore justa blaster from hell.

whats really interesting is the tec-9 & the Finnish suomi M31 sub-gun use the (coffin) shaped mags, plus the magazine release is very close in design,.....but i wish I could use the cheaper suomi mags in my tec,..(I have both tec & suomi semi-carbine)....but there mag catch on the magazines are just different enough that they dont fit....(T_T) (P.S.)...ive noticed that some of the Tec-9 after market mags are the 36rd suomi's that have been converted

Only jams if you hold the magazine. Which only an idiot would do because it says in the manual DO NOT HOLD THE MAGAZINE. It was not designed to have you hold the magazine when it's fired. The recoil jars the magazine already but when you hold it it keeps it in a position it's not supposed to be and puts extra force on the bolt and the magazine itself, eventually you damage both the gun and the magazine to the point in which it will permanently keep jamming. I own one, 500 rounds, 3 jams.

Y do you want a TEC 9 there shit have fun cleaning it they gte dirty real easy and the barrel only lasts about 5.000 rounds and if you shoot automatic all the time the firing pin only lasts about 2.000 Also have fun getting a firing pin and repairs there expensive and are cheaply made as home deffence there crap there inaccurate and jam easy

I have over 10,000 rounds through one of mine and the barrel is still as tight as a virgin. As for parts only replaced the firing pin once. The sights do suck at first but you get used to them.
