There were two Glen Smiths, the Glen Smith mentioned here was sometimes referred to as West Virginia Glen Smith, as he lived there much of his life, although he was originally from the Galax, Va. area. He was my great uncle, and learned much of his playing from his father (my great grandfather), Creed Smith.

@iTwitchAlot1 More specifically, there were two well known fiddle players named Glen Smith in the Western VA and WV area. These guys ARE talking about my uncle Glen, he also taught fiddle at Davis and Elkins college in WV. They learned this piece from him.
