That wand is only good to cast Lumos. :/ I had one when I was little, i prefer the one's from the noble collection, you can always make effects on adobe after effects.

I have a wand similar, except it doesn't like up, but it's a 40 dollars exact replica of harry potters wand, it's a little longer then that, it's made out of some sort of lite stone metal thing, and it looks exactly like harries wand, it also comes with a box replica of the box all wands are in from Olivanders wand shop, i got it at the Exhibit in NYC which closed September 5th, which was again 40 dollars. How much does that one cost? If it's cheap, it would probably be worth buying.

@raybondpink actually it IS motion activated, the button does NOT turn it on, the button simply increases/decreases the brightness of the light.  To actually turn the light on u must tap it on a hard surface or move it around.

Mabye you can help me, because I have the Hermione one and I have a problem. I also have that key thing, and when I turn it all the way clockwise, it says "click" (does that mean it's locked, so it can't go on if I don't want it to? Or is it just to close it ). When you wave it, you MUST say LUMOS. And to turn it off, it's NOX. May I repeat? NOX. When brightening it, you say LUMOS MAXIMA, which is not technically something they did in the books, though it can be used as an addition when creating a spell of your own. Anyway, LUMOS and NOX.

Noble Collections relesed a slightly different version in 2007 when the 7th book came out. This version didn't have a key, instead it had 2 flat bumps on the battery cap that allows you to open the battery compartment. I considered that version a lot more convienient since the key as small and easy to loose. I've been looking all over the web for someone to make a comparison, but nobody has. They still sell the old version on amazon.
