no he didn't, though the lyrics are beautifully touching, he never said what it meant to him, all he said was in the beginning that it was the first time he ever played this song, and at the end that it was a great feeling to finally sing it. =)

His mannerisms and body expressions paint the story that he's tryin to tell...and everytime even with the same song its different....like freestyle mime status on a higher plane of conciousness.

perfectly worded, i was thinking along the lines of that, but i won't even try to say it any better. but, its as if each time he sings this, he feels something entirely new and different, exuding that emotion, crafting that "story" and the end result is unexpected; beautifully unique.

Recently saw his concert at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, KS. I'm so happy he is finally singing this song live, it's such a wonderful song and it sounds great too!
