  • when i say homegrown, you say ganja!

    HOMEGROWN!

    GANJA!

  • I was in Bermuda in August. We went to snorkel park on August 14th. The Homegrown Band was the best band we have ever seen perform live and we have been to many concerts. Is there a cd anywhere out there? Can't wait to go back and see them again.

  • i saw these guys wen i visited bermuda last week. do they have a cd out or nething, i rly want some of their music

  • yes eye homegrown, wa gwaan shotty dem tune sound kris dun. do ya ting b

  • yaaa HOMEGROWN, im comin back to bermy and straight to docksiders this summer, cant wait till i get home.

  • reggae artists and big Sounds come from JA and all round de world, such as Gentleman from Germany, Morgan Heritage from Springfield MA, or David Rodigun from England. So to sum things up, why the accent? cuz you cant eat spagetti with a spoon it dont work. Why the colors? because they have been adopted into the reggae world and they are a reggae band. and finally will this confuse non-bermudians? Not if you know anythin about reggae music. Cha, Big Up HOMEGROWN FAMILY

  • land. Now you ask will this confuse non-bermudians? quite possibly, but if you listen to the words they are a reggae band biggin up bermuda. If you are the "typical" american (big up all my american bredrens) you would automatically assume they were Jamaican, why? cuz you dont know shit about island life and culture and think all reggae comes from Jamaica. If you knew anythin about the business you would know nowadays

  • black and yellow (big up), Trinni is Black White and red (big up) Thos eonly flag off hte top of my head that has red/yellow/green is Ghana which is NOT an Island. Why do they wear these colors? b/c these colors have been adopted into the reaggae world. Red standin for the blood of your brother, yellow standin for de sun, and green standin for you

  • NO...think about it, if you want to be an opera singer you will not open your show with a gunja spliff shoutin FIYAH!!!! why? b/c no one will like you and think you suck, kinda like matisyahoo. Now for your second question about the colors. What the fuck are you talkin about? Red Yellow Green, what island are you talkin about? Jamaica is Green

  • svrs441416 here is your anwser: First of all, the whole idea of de accent...if you look at any Sound or reggae artist reguardless of where they are from (except matisyahooo who is mug) they all have / put on some sort of reggae/island accent. Would reggae be reggae with a non island accent? possibly, but would you be reachin your target audience?

  • Nuff repsect fi Homegrown Band fi doin de ting... Jah Bless...

  • Love and Respect to my people!

  • respect!
