The battery technology isn't there. They don't work in hot or cold climates. You always have range anxiety. This man is beyond stupid as is CARB. People like him are a danger to himself and society. You can drive an EV 1000 miles per month on 250 kWh of electric, which can be produced in a space smaller than the car parks at night. There's always been too much electric!!! The problem has been to use it all up. Nuke power doesn't make ONE barrel of oil!! Almost no electric is made from oil!!

i wonder if any of the members of the ARB have kids of their own. i wondering if we planned a camping trip down on the front lawn of these oil refineries would they bring their kids down to cook marsh mellows with us????? i dont think so.....why? it couldn't be because of the air quality....no no no! they need to go for a road trip as you said. get out of the meetings and look out the window.... but they need to make sure that the window is up because the acid rain might destroy their suits!

Actually, many mechanics LOVE the idea of EVs, because it's a much better machine, runs without much wear and tear (mostly electrons moving), and most of what you do is fine tuning, no grease and no exhaust fumes. Thanks for your comment!

A mechanic who has nothing to repair, isn't going to want to support the destruction of his business. The only reason your mech might like those, is because you might have to leave it completely alone and let HIM do ALL work on it, to maintain your warranty (if it was made by the Big 3).

If you're making it yourself, then you have no reason to squawk.
