I know because I have a Teddy bear myself. (HE'S SO ADORABLE!!! XD) So the reason they're called Teddy bears and Panda bears is because of their colors: TB: brown and white, PB: black and white. So yeah, that's what I thing Griffon is. Hope that helped!!! :)

@huntorktim sorry about your dog, but it really dosen't matter what breed the dog is if your worrying about safety. I had a Dalmation*known for being 'violent' * that was closer to me than my own mother. I even saw a pitbull infront of my mothers work that was the sweetest little thing I had ever seen. If you have small children in your home however, you should take precautions with breeds so when the dogs might play rough,so nothing bad happens. I really do feel sorry about your dog though...
