Archie's really shy, and he's kinda being a bitch about it, but even though he's so shy, he's the most talented out of all of them. I wish he would show it more.
I think it is Archies 'niceness that rubs off on everyone. When you've got someone among you who only says good things about others, you would kinda feel like a bit of a loser to start being critical. I think that rubbed off on Cook too and then when the two stars of the group set such a good example of humility, then it is going to affect the psyche of the group in the same way too.

He is TALENTED, but not VERSATILE. He's a balladere, which can have a niche & market, but IMO it was his downfall. U have to B diverse, creative, well-rounded 2B considered the best. It woulda been a travisty if DA won over DC. IMO, I think so many veiwers began 2 resent DA b/c the jugdes coddled him & didn't critique him as hard, didn't scold him 4 playing it safe & singing mostly ballads. He had 4 semi fast songs, Shop Around, Your The Voice, Sweet Caroline, With You. 2 SAFE & not current.

Well obviously David Archuleta's music on his CD shows that he absolutely CAN sing fast paced songs. There are plenty of fast songs on there and plenty of fast songs posted to youtube. In fact it is amazing how versatile he can be.
Archuleta dosen't even sing in this impromptu a cappela. EVERYONE else sings w/ Cook obviously leading the way... Can u Archie fans not see that he is way out classed in this competetion? And YES, he IS adorable, he DOES sing like an angel, but he is just not up to par in every other way. IMO, the top three should have been Cook, Smithson, Johns or Archie (ONLY b/c he does have an amazing voice). His only prop for anyone esle is "they r so funny" or "they r amazing" He needs time 2 grow up.
I actually think it is fabulous that David Archuleta has done all that he has considering that he is a naturally reserved person. Just because he is humble doesn't mean he hasn't got the talent or the ability. He is an example of overcoming your fears and doing it anyway. Not just back then during AI but in everything he has done since. That sounds like maturity to me.
btw... what's with the pineapple reference to DC? Just curious - I don't see "pineapple" when I see this very mature, articulate, personable, inteligent, talented, witty young man. Help me out.
