  • Not sure think about 45 mph. The trains using this line have to get off the "normal main line further up the other side of this tunnel but do it by running along the opposite line and then through a point back onto double track, all restricted speed so they dont have much time to build speed up, plus it is an uphill gradient. Sounds good though

  • how fast was she going nigel, it sounded like she was doing 50 mph comin out of that tunnel

  • thanks Jules it is a nice location as the loco is having to work hard at that point. Must get some more uploaded . I have a fantastic one of Leander and a jinty on VHS double heading out of Rothley back in about 1990 in -4 sub zero late afternoon. You have never seen so much steam , hard to see the locos Must get that on as well
