We don't know how long he uses the touchscreen normally, actually most GUI interactions can be done faster using a mouse.
But touchscreens are good for things as writing or painting

the kit comes with everything you need, i just made a small hole in the casing on the back of the dell, to allow the cable to be run through. this dell has no usb ports.
