Great scene, very entertaining, well acted, and I am glad we have the option of watching it, but I like the other scene better and agree with this cut. I think the scene Sly used was more realistic. It makes more sense that Andy's place has a new owner, and new patrons. It adds to Rocky's isolation, and shows just how much Rocky's world has changed through the times.
Also, this actress isn't the original Marie. The original Marie had a part in Rocky 5 where she actually DID become a hooker, but it was cut. That actress can be seen in the final fight between Tommy Gunn and Rocky, however.
That is the original bartender. He called Apollow a clown and rocky stood up for apollo, saying he took his best shot at the title-not everyone takes their shots. Bartender man said he doesn't have to, he has a business. Rocky gets offended-bartender seems upset he offended rocky, says "You want me to take a shot? All right! I'll take a shot" while pouring himself a glass of liquor.

The setting is good, though the scene in the film is better finished, more dramatic
