  • their called Kassa..or ears...theyre rattles that create an extra sound when the djembe is played especially when the tone is played....

  • I've never heard them them called that. They're called ksink ksink (sink-sink), also known as se-se, kashink-kashink, sege sege, ksing-ksing, or segeh-segeh.

    Kassa is the name of a set of harvest rhythms and means 'grain store'.
