.....WE the cubans who like Reinaldo Arenas left the dictatureship of Castro's by watching this is like comunicating with Reinaldo;we all know what freedom means finally and we run ,and run away from our Cuba in a very sad and decadent way......but finaly like he said "I'm free and Cuba will be free some day"i can't stop but cry.........long live Reinaldo Arenas.

Yes, this movie I picked out along with a number of other unknowns in a video store. I have had some of my own poetry published. This movie is a huge discovery for me. I can't stop watching it, and I want to absorb as much of Reinaldo Arenas as I can.

Passing through the exploding streets,since the pipes are ready to give out passing around the buildings,we need to dodge,since they are falling onto us,between the hostile faces scrutinizing and sentencing us,between the closed establishments,closed markets,closed movie theaters,closed parks,closed cafés.Exhibiting already dusty signs (justifications) occasionally,CLOSED FOR REFORMS,CLOSED FOR REPARATION.What kind of reparation?When will this alleged reform end?
