  • Sorry! "Solea"**

  • Another awesome training video Tab! Have been looking forward to seeing what Dolea can do next. Beautiful dog.

  • A little advanced for my boy Kodie, a 2yr old rescue Husky/GSD with me 1mth.

still working on lead pulling but showing good improvement .

excellent behaviour in house but so excited when on our regular 2x or 3x daily walks.

really happy to see other people and pulls to then so much to jump.

we look so out of control until the people pass.

    Good to see you back.

you dog is a credit to your calm, kind patients and love for her. congratulations!

    keep them coming...

    Nik.

  • your back! that's great!

    Make more videos m8!

  • Excellent Video! Buying a GSD and will be using your vids along the way! This lesson, is this how they train gun dogs to point birds (pheasant etc etc)

  • @Billz321983 I'm sure there are other ways to train it, but this is how I would start.

  • When my 5 month old golden retriever find out that we're heading home(when im walking her). She starts biting the leash and jump, and bite my jacket and such.. Any ideas what i can do to stop it?. Sorry for bad english :-)

  • @zeezuscss Sounds like you could use a cue to tell her to stop. Check out my video on stopping puppy biting.

  • 3:36 had you been cooking?? LOL! great video! i love your job!

  • Hahaha I know I shouldn't have tried it out with my puppy yet. But I wanted to see if we could do it. But she picked it up and ran off with it XD

  • Great to see you and solea back again. thanks for something new to do with my dog to

  • i have a 5 month german shapard and he still biting how can i stop this plz answer me plzzzzzzzzzzz plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Wow! His dog is so smart!

  • Tab, love your videos. Keep it up - we all benefit!

  • If I feed my dog, dog food like (Purina Dog chow or Pedigree) is it bad that i train it with bits of normal food like pieces of meat or something. because i wanna do it but im a little not sure that he will stop eating dogh food and will be more interested in bones and meat

  • @FranciscoSkateboards That should be fine so long as your dog is not allergic to those foods. I don't think they'd stop eating their food.

  • @FranciscoSkateboards lol, it is just bad that you feed pedigree/purina. Both use animal/meat by product which's anything from road kill to dead cats & dogs. They contain an ingredient labelled natural flavours, which is MSG hidden in things like hydrolysed protein/veg isolates, brewers yeast. They've gluten in them which destroys stomach shags& can cause diabetes. Be an ingredient watcher, protect your dogs health. In my area I buy Acana/Origin they use freerange meat or I make it myself.

  • @FranciscoSkateboards Check labels in in specialty stores. You have have organic dry dood that says organic natural flavours, but it is just organic sourced msg, it still causes lesions on the brain. Expensive fancy foods can still use gluten. Vets sell food with gluten, it is a shameful practice. It is very dangerous for cats, but vets will still sell it. Training with spice/garlic/onion free meat is awesome, just feeding real food is awesome. They did not evolve on dehydrated kibble.

  • Solea is so smart and adorable ;)

I'll definitely work on some of this with my dog. I'm sure all your subscribers are very thankful for your training videos.

  • This is very true and works very effectively

Love your videos, don't stop making em

  • welcome back bro! good to see you and Solea at it again =]

  • Thanks for the new video. looking forwarded to the next one regarding scenting. We play search games with koby and the kids, He loves it, But at this poing he does not seem to drop his nose when searching.

  • YAY! TAB IS BACK!

I GOT IT!! I'll say this: YAY YOU'RE NOT DEAD TAB!! myself: what?!? me: well thats what i was thinkin
  • Im happy to see more videos from you! I was wondering how do I get my dog to stop zig zagging in front of me when we go walks? I tend to trip over him.

    Thanks!

  • I'm trying to watch this but your clicker has just awaken my new two year old shepherd, yellow lab cross rescue. I'll have to watch this when she's outside. I need it for my Australian shepherd. Btw, great video!

  • great tutorial videos. i dont have a dog but i really enjoy watching your tutorial videos. i hope that i can apply them once i get one. can you also make videos of you playing with Solea? just having fun and stuff. those are really great too.

  • @Koreenth ya id have 1 either wish i did soooooo much.

good that you're doing the research! people like you are people that make me so happy. too often owners do not research the dog/breed/dogs in general and they get a puppy and have no idea how to handle it. it's good you're looking into it so you have some background knowledge!!

  • Nice! I have a standard poodle service dog and want to train her to go and get my mom for me, any help? Also clickers are to much on my hand, any suggestions ?

  • @DoodlesCatters I don't know what you mean by "clickers are too much on my hand" but I think you mean that it's too much to have to hold the food, clicker, and possibly a lure/toy too. you can either get a fanny pack which you put treats in so you don't have to always be holding the treats, or you can put the treats in your hand and put the clicker over them. HOPE THIS HELPS

  • @DoodlesCatters You can use a word like "yes" but you must do it consistently and not overuse it when not teaching something specific.

  • @tab289 can i have your mail?

  • @DoodlesCatters You might want to check out my supernaturalbc2008 channel for a two way alert, which is what you are training when you send the dog for someone and bring them back. It's a channel to help train assistance dogs.

  • Glad to see a new video :3

  • What is the music at the end??

  • Awesome video Tab & Solea! Thanks! Tab, I was wondering if u had some advice - I have 2 gsds, 9 months & 18 months old - I did quite a bit of training with my older one before we got the younger one, but struggle teaching both of them, especially when using the clicker. I've tried separating them, but they can both hear the clicker from the other end of the house & go crazy if they hear it. Thanks x

  • @jellybean0983 You would want them to learn that when you're clicking it is for one dog, not both of them. I would suggest getting them both in front of you and first clicking and feeding both of them at once, then clicking and feeding both separately. Have them watch while the other dog performs behaviors and gets clicks and treats. If they go crazy, ignore them for 5 seconds. If they go very crazy-crazy, remove them from the room with a leash.

  • @josski32 Thank you! :o)

  • nice video :) when can we see you at animal planet or national geographic channel? :)

  • Haha cool

  • You've taught me a lot about shaping behaviors, from an old skool choke chain trainer (no not mean) to a 100% +R trainer. See you can teach an old dog new tricks, thanks!

  • do videos more often! :) if not a training video, do something else like showing your dog playing or doing these tasks or something. Im going to get a german shepherd this year and I just cant wait !!! it has been my dream over 5 years now :)

  • Training takes time I assume? Lol. She's lookin great man, can't wait for the next video!

  • thanks for the videos my friend...

  • Hey dude your alive welcome back

  • wow we missed you, welcome again!

  • Thanks for uploading again. Love your videos. We have learnt so much from you and really appreciate the time you put in when making your videos.

  • I LOVE YOUR VIDS

  • What treats do you use ? thanks

  • @XxPepperAndRosebudxX Here, and most of the time, I use just regular food and train around meal times. I don't have any preference for a brand, whatever works best for your dog is usually great to use.

  • this video is so funny using the close captioning

  • Happy to see a new video from you!! Wonderful video!

I've asked this before, but haven't got an answer, so, will you make a part 2 of the perfect heeling video? :) Can't wait!

  • @mariswithdogs Yes I plan on it.

  • @tab289 Just can't wait to see it! :)

  • You are the best Tab!

You train for very useful behaviours, whereas other trainers focus too much on exotic tricks.

Teaching a dog to search and point! Cant think of anything cooler.

What music was that at the end?

  • @Adipatus Just some royalty free loops I put together in the software I have on my computer

  • @Adipatus the song sounds alot like 'Fort Minor - Believe Me' though =]

  • @Shadpulse . you're absolutely right !!!!!

I've been looking for that song forever!

What a kind hearted person, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

  • Gr8 video man , keep up the good work !

  • I'm happy to see you're posting videos again! :)

  • Your Back!!!!!! ;) I'm crying

  • Awesome dog, you've trained it well.

  • witchcraft

  • can you do dog training for beginners

  • @larissababy15628 I have lots of beginner training tutorials. Currently working on a puppy training video also...stay tuned!

  • @tab289 Pleaseeeee upload it soon!

Thank you very much for the tutorials, keep up the good work :-)

  • @tab289 I'm really interested in puppy training because I'm getting my new Siberian Husky puppy at the end of this week. Can you recommend a few commands to start off with? Or even specific videos you have that you'd recommend me starting with? Thx!

  • @aplasser I'd start with house-training, working on eye contact/attention, obedience, come, stay, walking on a loose leash, and maybe even some tricks. Just take it easy and once you become more confident as a trainer, it will happen naturally.

  • @tab289 As far as puppy training is concerned, there' s a situation that troubles me a lot: my 14-week-old pomeranian puppy likes to chew electrical wires... She has done it 3-4 times since we got her, 3 weeks before. Of course we try not to have anything dangerous exposed, but we use mobile phones and laptop chargers all the time so...

  • @pichita2277 ...it happens to forget them at easy-to-access points. I know you believe that the best punishment is to ignore the dog, but I don't think that in this case will work. I'm worrying about her safety...

  • @pichita2277 Until your dog fully understand all the rules of your house, I strongly believe they need to be kept on a leash or properly supervised. Prevention is the secret to a well-behaved dog.

  • @tab289 I truly appreciate it you took the time to answer :)

The truth is that I have a million questions and, because I know you can't aswer all of them due to lack of time, why don't you make a video with "safety rules"? You know, how to teach your dog to stop when you judge (s)he is in danger/ not to chew wires/ not to eat food that isn't given from you etc? I think that a lot of people will find answers in this kind of video. Thank you in advance!

  • @tab289 thank you very much tab because of you i have purchased a german shepherd she is 6 months now and your videos have helped me make her a great dog i hope you could do more puppy videos also thank you

  • You're back!!! :D

  • Your back!!!

  • Loving the shorter hair and stubble <3 x

  • You're back!
