My cat died today, he had kidney problems, heart problems and many other stuff. His name was Silent Sunlight nickname "Sigge"

Oh my. I haven't been on this page for a long time. My heart goes out to you. I have a cat who is just as loved as any other member of the family. His unconditional love saw my kids and I through a lot of rough years. He is 15 yrs old and I sob every time I think of losing him. I dread the day. God bless.

Cat Stevens writes with depth and sensitivity. I wish I could meet him once (now, as he is called by Yusuf Islam) I wonder ... is he a gentle and sensitive man?

Yusuf has won peace awards...he has spent his life, since he was "Cat" working for peace and helping the underpriveledged. Actually, all of his royalties go to charity now.

You know what? I highly respect and admire him for what he has done with his life. It puts my meager life to shame. And I hate it when people argue and slam him. I don't care what one thinks of Islam ... it's been my experience that every person is individual even inside their particular faith. You can't pretend to know the heart of any individual, especially one whom you do not know at all personally. All you have is what you see on the outside and he shines. Thank you for posting.
