  • ahh

  • I looked down to grab an iced gem and then I looked up and the horse and rider were standing next to each other. :P

  • she should have checked her horse that was a BAD fall!

  • Hope your ok ! Song?

  • people...things like this happen, it's neither horse nor riders fault. Maybe he could have improved something but who cares, they were obviously both okay because he got back on and the hprse continued jumpign like nothing had happened. so chill

  • lol small tallboots much? XD

For all them people making snotty comments, don't listen. I bet they're not as good as Nikki.(: It happens to everone. He was on the right lead and it wasn't a bad turn therefore nobody is at fault. Glad he was okay and got back on! The onlt thing is he should've made sure the horse wasn't injured, despite getting up there still could be a problem.

    Great Vid! :D

  • @HunterJumper175 thank you for this comment!! He did check the horse, and I didnt put that in beacuse I thought it would be a bit boring to watch .. but wish I left it in after all the comments! :)

  • @showjumperboy

    Haha that's alright. (:

  • well... tell nick to tighten the reins they are too loose the tighter the reins= the more control and the more control= the better cahnce to stay on and make sure he puts his HEELS DOWN

  • @wolfpup00101 thanks but this was more than 2 years ago!

  • @wolfpup00101 Tighter reins don't always help, they sometimes do more damage then good. I hope you remember that in the future when your horse starts hurting at the mouth...

  • @horsie623 I know but sometimes if you tighten them a little not too much it WILL help. In the video you can see the reins drooping over the horses neck and they are too long

  • @wolfpup00101 "the tighter the reins= the more control"...well i mean theres having contact with the horse which is having not a 'tight' rein, but having a feel for the horses mouth. from what i can see he does have a nice amount of contact. i can control my mare with a loose rein just fine. you dont need to rip the horses mouth to have control. you dont control the horse with the reins at all, you use your seat, energy, and leg pressure. reins are meant as a last result thing.

  • may i use this

  • @luvluvluv96 thats not rude thats just that what i see.. i never wanna be rude.!

  • Omg that happened to me i was so scared after that but i got on

  • This is an amazing video! I have seen very few people fall off like that and get right back on! I'm not sure why people are criticizing this video. That boy is a trooper! And as far as the speed if the horse is concerned. Where i'm from we have play days where we actually have jumping races! It's definately meant for the more experianced riders but it's pretty fricking fun! So bravo dude! I thought you were amazing!

  • awe its too bad he fell! :( and although personally if my horse fell i wouldn't want to jump it for at least a couple days in case of injuring him, i think the rider did a really great job of handling that!

  • @lillan2 same here in the U.S.

  • @Teresa451128 You are probably wondering because in the U.S. this would have been really high because your riders suck :p

  • I find that Nick is leaning to far back at the canter and this can cause a horse to go off balance

  • would it be okay if I use this clip in a video I'm making of horse falls? You'll get full credit!

  • I would not get back on. I'd take my horse else where to make sure he was ok. Also, in Canada, if you fall you get out of the ring and you wait for your next trip

  • super zielig

  • That horse is adorable! The rider is great, too. It's tough to turn well in such a small arena, maybe slowing down would have helped, but horses that love to jump like this one does tend to get speedy. And overall the round was GREAT. So much talent! :)

  • @Teresa451128 this is in the united kingdom

  • What a wonderful little pony. I really like how he stood up all calm and stood there instead of bolting like I have seen some horses do. It was a great ride also, especially for such a tight arena. You are a very good rider. And you pony is a great jumper and takes leads very well.

  • HAHA that's adorable, he stood up all "I meant to do that"

  • you were doing so good! Well its a good thing their fine

  • good on you to get back on and carry on with an amazing round

when my horse done a similair thing it took my half an hour just to stop shaking

    well done

  • woah! that had too hurt that happened at my last show but my horse fell on me!

  • AWEE and they were doing sooo good :(

  • It takes a "special" person to make rude & negative comments on a video like this. The turn wasn't that bad--I see a lot worse in professional tournaments on tv and those horses do just fine. I think this guy is a really good rider and the horse performed very well.

  • @LightingInvoker Yeah it was just an accident :) I think he done okay pretty horse :D

  • good for him to get back up in the saddle directly after the fact, AMAZING round might i add!

  • That rider handled himself very well and kudos for the horsie! he's like "I'm up! I'm fine! How about you kid? Did I hurt you?" He had amazing round otherwise!

  • This rider is amazing i would have never gotten back on that horse :) ( real horse rider :) )

  • i hate falling off at shows

  • he looks a litte short for you

  • Some people really do think that they know everything. This rider did really good and so did the horse. Don't blame the rider for everything. Accidents happen all the time and we can't control it. You can see that the horse was just fine. Those who don't know what they are talking about should honestly keep their mouths shut. I'm glad Nick and Coco got right back up and seemed fine. =)

  • OMG SOO BAD!

    was the horse ok?

  • oh wowsa :s

  • in the video, how long had he been riding?

  • @saddlebredhorsegirl I think about 4-5 years

  • Well his position needs work and do do his hands... They are all over the place!!! I feel bad for the horses mouth!!!!

  • Omg, that was CHAMPION! I hope you got Champion. Did you? Well, that was GREAT until Coco HAD to trip! Omg, great job getting back up, 135steffany, is right. Your my idol! And Coco is a good jumper, and your a good rider. The stupid addience should have clapped!!! If I was there, I would've clapped..I don't care if I look stupid! :) Keep on Ridin'!

  • I have fallen at a horse show, and i took a header, it wasnt pretty, but i got back on and finished. so yeah. i felt really emotional cause everyone was clapping for me.

  • omg that was like awful good there ok though :D !

  • good recovery! he was also on the wrong lead and he was going around a tight turn, that's probaby why he fell. but great job for the rest of the time! its hard to switch his lead that fast before you get around the turn,so i give ya credit :)

  • @LiveLoveRide10003 looks like he wasn't on the wrong lead..

  • OMG!!!!!! they both got right back up!!!!!!!!! and they both kept on going!!!!!!! THATS AWESOME :]

  • good riding, and good recovery (: that happened to me once ( i ride hunters) in the middle of a 5 stride like that my pony tried to take in 3 1/2, so good job!

  • awww that stinks , that was a perfect round up untiil the fall

  • Nice jumping there, until the accident. Keep it up!

  • Well done Nick. Gosh people r soo rude. He would have picked up if something wrong when he troted the pony around!

  • OOPS! You were doing so well though! LOL I like how you stroke his neck and get back on. No hard feelings or stupidity, just feet flying all over. hehhee

  • >:o I bet you could you where going to win :D

  • honestly u shouldn't get back on right away after that.........the horse could b really hurt,.......it should be thoroughly checked first

  • that horse better have been checked out, and walked around before they got back on.. im guessing yess??

  • oh man yous were doing so well as well what a super honest pony the sand must have been a bit loose at that corner well done for getting back on its good that the pony wasnt frightened either at jumping shows here your not allowed to get back after a fall anymore which is a bit rubbish but i guess its all about health and safety blleeehhhh!!

  • That happens all the time at jumper shows so people should chill its really common mostly the riders fault for not leaning to the outside to balance the horse

  • Some of these comments amaze me...I can tell the Real horse people and the ones who think they know all. He is a great rider and has a great little pony. Accidents do happen. And for the people who think he didnt check his horse...well check again. You can tell the video was cut off when he went back over to his horse and then turned back on when he got back on. And as you can see the horse went right back into jump mode...no harm done at all. Happy horse and Happy rider..period.

  • @whiskeyxogirl AGREED! The main thing is that he is okay and he got back on. I give him credit for that... lol :P

  • he sits way to far back he looks like hes falling backwards but other than that hes pretty good

  • i have never see a horse so I dont know how to put it....unbendible, the horse is completly straight! the lack of bending and the speed she was going caused the cras.

  • Haha i saw that coming!!! HANDS STEADY AND ARMS BENT!!!!!!!

  • great rider! :]

  • good job being confident!. ive been working with a pony that hates going towards mounting blocks so i have to mount on her from ground. when ur horse moves while ur trying to get on. say no hop back off and turn him in circles..

  • Bless! That horse is so sweet, standing and waiting for the rider instead of running off! Is it you riding? If it is, well done for getting back on :)

  • great job!! i can tell u are a confident rider well done

  • you guys did good!!!!! im sure it wasn't your fault, maybe it was a little slippery around there, and coco just got a little off balance. and I'm glad 2 hear that u checked him out b4 getting back on!!! good job yoo two!!!!!! :)

  • you're a good rider. But don't continue riding when a horse falls like that.. You should check if he/she is ok

  • AUCH ! ,

  • good rider.. but stupid mistake... but it's for everbuddy :)

  • Aw bummer about the fall - hope you were both okay!!! Great job to get straight back on and finish the round!!! WELL DONE!! :) xx

  • woaah, that was well ridden :)

    your really good :)

atleast you got back on straight away, the main this is is that you were both ok.

  • omg were you both okay??

    xx

  • how's that her fault... wow. it happens. its called an accident. way to get back on but i agree i would've walked and checked it out.

  • should not have got back on! you should have felt him down! if he was hurt he could have gone lame!

  • This poor horse is a SAINT...

  • then why did she get right back on after they fell?

  • @Rybreadd58 the video was fast-forwarded, they skipped the part where they walked the horse out to check it lol

  • great riding. but arent you a little big for that horse?

  • that was absolutly your fault..!!

  • if i was her i wouldnt get back on the horse i would walk out and see if he got hurt

  • @Rybreadd58 She did, only a horrible person wouldnt :)

  • O my gosh that exactly happend to me !!! the legs slip out from under you. !! im glad your ok.

  • the only times i fell off a horse was in a horse show... and i kinda fell like u did... only i fell on my butt haha

  • ahhh, the indoor show ring...

With it's small corners, tiny striding, dark shadows, and scary echoes.... I have failed many times at the indoor!! XD

  • good job getting back on the horse and finishing. the horse was obviously uninjured

  • OMG hope you were both ok! enter this into my worst horse fall contest it would have a good chance in the scary catagory! :D x

  • Hope you were finne

haha zig zag at 1:22 to 1:35

  • aaaww, horseeey

  • omg :s

why did u get right back on the horse?! it could be hurt!!

  • good riding

  • aww thats a shame, good job though. I remember when that happened to me, even though I had my horse cocked like crazy because it was raning and the course was really slick, but we went down anyways, though we did get all muddy, but I was eliminated and couldn't keep going :(.

  • glad you were both fine. you were leaning back a little to much though. man those people just stared at him till he got up then they came over!

  • none of the people stood in that arena came straight away to check if he was okay!

  • Ow, must have hurt!

  • omg can i use this video well just the part were you fall off then imidiatly get back on

  • way to get back on!! nice ride!!! i dont think u were going too fast!! ive seen way faster it was a nice round and it was great to finish it out!!! glad to see the horse and u were ok

  • wow you're a really good rider! And yeah I cant believe no one clapped for you when you got up!!!!!

  • tht was a good round but seriusly i know its a jumper class but u should know to b careful around corners

  • Not to be a mean, but they were going far to fast,

whether it was a speed round or not the rider should have been a little more careful on the corners.

He also needs to learn to keep his hands still, they're jumping all over the place.

But it was a good round, and fair play for getting back on with it! Not many people would do that (:

  • I'm glad you were both fine, it looked really good before you and your horse just slipped in the short turn ^^

  • can I use this for a video? I will give you full credit!

  • another thing if when you got up and ppl didnt clap :O i'm shocked :) i clap for you your my idol :P

  • lmfao that was insanneeeee you fall get back up and yuour like no one saw that adn the horse was like WOW you get back on and your like we can stilll win this tyhing :) i love it amazing job you got back up so fast to check your horse then got back on :)

  • Hope they were both OK! I was not expecting that. They started off the round so well too!

  • omg Insane fall!! hope they were Ok!!

  • great job getting back on! i give yu props

  • see that swat ur saposed to do get up pet the horse and get back on

  • wow! great riding otherwise! i didnt see that coming!

  • wow, must have shook you up a bit, i completely wasnt expecting that!

  • hahaha the horse got up and shoock it off!

  • Good job getting back on :)

  • omg i wasn't expecting that!!! your a really good rider though!!!!!! =]

  • oh shit!!! hope both wer ok :)

Could i use this in a horse falls video? i'll give u credit :)

  • Oh goodness!!!! I did NOT expect that! How scary. I'm glad you both appeared to be ok though!!!!

  • ooh bad fall, good thing everyone's okay.

  • he didn't have enough support on the outside rein

  • ups

that was quick - i bet you even didn't have time to be worried

  • horrible that he fell, cute how the horse just shook it off like it was nothing

  • Omg, How tall is this horse, he looks Excatly like mine:P:)

  • Ouch nasty fall glad there both ok!! xx

    great song to ;)

  • He probably checked for injuries before he got on.. Did u?

  • why would you get back on like that after your horse fell? The horse could have been hurt

  • we lead him around first to check he was sound, don't worry. he was fine. also, the Vet checked him thoroughly later on and he was 100% sound. not even a scratch.

  • @limegreenpony calm down! im sure they did check him, he even said they did, did u not see how the video fast-forwarded?????
