I've had mine for 3 years and it crapped out last month. Sits away from everything and has a fan on it as well. I don't play for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time. Poor quality product!

I still have commodore vic 20, 2 atari 2600, 2 NES, snes, Turbografx 16, gensis, n64, DS, ps1, psONE, ps2 and they all still work. Microsoft makes bad systems plain and simple.
