  • I considered makeing a large enough air system out here at my farm and mounting my two whistles to blow from time to time but I am surrounded by horse ranches and scareing the Expensive horses with the whistle blowing probily isnt adviseable LOL but the thought sure crossed my mind put them on my barn and BLOW LOL

  • About my most favorite whistle blast.

  • now THATS a train whistle X_X

  • Lovely S5T at first, though that Northern Pacific 5 Chime is just lovely!!

  • LOOK THE FUCK OUT

    IT'S A GHOST TRAIN

  • I love the horn blowing in the background!!

  • it's actually a whistle from the new hope and ivyland railroad.

  • you sure, i know we use a whole lot of different whistles. and i haven't heard one like that on ol'40 before.

  • i'm sure i looked on the video and it was first used on CNR 1533.

  • wait you were right, i just got done watchin some old footage from 89. in my room. and she was wearing this NP 5 chime. well it's shame we don't use it. but it would be nice if we did.

  • actually from 1990, go to google, and type in NH&I 1990

  • NH&I? Eh no, that's B.S.

I wouldn't spout out random facts unless you know they are true.

#40 HAS worn a NKP (Nickel Plate Road) 5 chime, that looks and sounds similar to the NP 5 chime. But even the NH&I does not own the NKP whistle - it's owned by a private individual that lets the railroad use it on #40 once in a while.

Maybe she's worn the NP 5 chime in the past, but as far as I know she hasn't.

  • joe thats all i was saying, was that 40 wore the Np 5 chime in 89. im not trying to start aguements. i just like to add information that i have come across. to conversations that i have with others on here. thats all. is there anything wrong with adding informations true or not, that i have come across at the last minute?

  • Yes... Actually, adding information that is not true should be avoided.

I wasn't trying to start an argument either, I was just trying to clear some things up. Not that it mattered to much, they're just whistles.

  • yea exactly, i agree with ya. there is no point of arguing with someone over whistles.

  • she did go to google and type in nh&i 1990. she DOES have that whistle on her.

  • she did wear in the past

  • eh that would 1533s whistle she used to wear which would be a cn 5 chime i belive

  • Even better than SP 4449's Hancock 3-chime steamboat whistle.

  • IS that horn that we hear at the beginning of the video a train crossing?

  • Yes it was, it was either the loco pulling short excursion train, or the horn collectors that were set-up on the other side of the tracks.

  • @Spooler734 that is Cool as Hell I have one of the NP whistles in my colection I have been dieing to hear it blow I wish I had enough air on my rig to do it justince mounting it on my truck just for looks I use enough air on there allready I done have enough pressuse to one of these Justice I am about to mount an RS5T on there fairlly soon

  • where do you get this stuff? and how much!?

  • It sounds very close to a rock island 5....I love it!!!!! Very fine!!!

    Cary
