  • Thanks for posting this edifying video, Brother.

    God bless you!

  • This man is one of the most shameless con artists in the business!!! You don't want to KNOW the connections he's got, behind closed doors; just think the C-Street "Family" and Fox News.

I'm sorry, Berean, I respect your right to speak your mind or to pass on videos you like: But this guy is a crook; PLEASE don't give him any money or support. Remember: "A friendly voice is not always a friend."---Arthur C. Clarke, atheist, burning in Hell, according to you

  • @ChurchOfKali66619

Neither "Fox News" nor religion nor atheism saves anyone who has offended God, the Eternal Creator.

Believe the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ today, and be saved by grace through faith in the Son of God alone.

  • Just getting through hearing this video!

    IT IS AWESOMELY SOBERING!!

Dr. Gipp can make you cry and laugh at the same time!

Thank you, Dave, for posting this marvel! It is, indeed, a blessing!

Thank you to my brothers jjpetkusiii or boggymark1, one of whom sent it to me some time ago, which I am only now getting to hear!

  • Ha Ha Ha!! Dr. Gipp's humor is unsurpassed!!

  • The comment before me I mean.

  • That is misleading catholic nonsense

  • Yep, I love Sam Gipp. While his theology is questionable, his political stance indefensible and his KJV-onlyism laughable, he is utterly sincere in his love of the Lord. It's the last quality that redeems him and his sermons.

James White has no doubt Sam Gipp will appear in Heaven, and I don't either.

  • That's interesting, because I have my doubts that James White will "appear" in heaven.

  • If anyone boasts, "I love God," and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won't love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can't see?

    1 John 4:20

  • "If anyone boasts, "I love God," and goes right on hating his brother or sister"

"Who are my brethren? Whosoever shall do the will of my father which is in heaven, the same is my brother and sister. " Matt 12:50

James White is NOT my brother.

  • ...and neither are you.

  • Saving is all His idea, and all His work. All we do is trust Him enough to let Him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish!

    Ephesians 2:8

If you LISTEN to Mr Gipp, you might find he takes care to point out all Christians are brothers (and sisters), even if divided by issues like KJV-onlyism. That attitude seems more genuinely Christian than yours.

  • Can you really be "Christian" if you reject God's word? And if you are a Christian, isn't it more loving to sharply rebuke you (Titus 1:13), than let you continue in ignorance? And if you refuse to listen, shouldn't I reject you and treat you as a heathen (Matt. 18:17)?

  • "That attitude seems more genuinely Christian than yours."

Oh it does? Why would I care about what things "seem" like to you? Where's your authority?

  • If God wanted His word in English, why didn't He inspire the apostles to write the original texts in that language?

Also, why is it OK for the KJV to be changed in 1769, and not in 1881? I note you do not use the 1611 wording.

But to address your main point, Mr Gipp's attitude of all lovers of Christ struggling together against personal barriers to get to His purpose, seems very apt, as well as beautiful.

  • "If God wanted His word in English, why didn't He inspire the apostles to write the original texts in that language?"

Because he can do whatever he wants to do. Just because you don't understand doesn't mean it was the wrong thing to do.

"Also, why is it OK for the KJV to be changed in 1769, and not in 1881? I note you do not use the 1611 wording."

The KJV wasn't "changed" in 1881, the 5000 manuscripts of the textus receptus were thrown out in favor of TWO catholic manuscripts.

  • @curvalecce

Manuscript evidence has established that the text of the AV1611 derives from Antioch--where the disciples were first called Christians--chiefly down the Byzantine line, and therefore comes from the pure Biblical texts. Moreover, sound Biblical doctrine and valid hermeneutic methodology are not matters of debate. Of course, no error in the Scriptural text of the King James Bible has ever been proven.

  • I have nothing but love for Bro. Gipp.
